Just recieved the Box set... absolutely Beautiful. The box finish is flawless. The cards fit perfectly hugged in faux leather slots I cant wait to fill it with the new edition cards that are yet to come out. I Could not be more impressed.
Honestly, after following the company for a while now, this may be their best product yet. Not only is it catered towards the trinity - magicians, cardists and collectors; but it has an aura that tilts toward an art form that can be respected by all of society. Spectacular deck, and even more so as an entire collection.
My favorite item from Art of Play is really always the latest newly released puzzle, games, playing cards [especially], etc....BUT MY ALL TIME FAVORITE from Art of Play is called "Slow Dance" -the way 'Slow Dance' works is by maneuvering an item like a bird's feather, small branch from a plant or tree and manipulates it to move in a really organic & natural way but even better it does this in slow motion so that it can be really appreciated for it's natural beauty and inevitably it just reminds us of the real & natural beauty that is around us EVERYWHERE & EVERYDAY. -Gentleman Wake as always your deck reviews and personal insights into each playing card deck is so very extremely appreciated. My favorite Art of Play product is the Voltige Special Edition Playing Cards. From the tuck case that splits down the middle of the front, the diamond shaped tuck stamp, and the classic design of the cards & courts, it's a timeless work of art.
Well my favorite from Art of Play is now the black Standards.. this is a beautiful and luxurious deck that we can perform magic with, we can use for cardistry and we can collect. Great work. Huge respect goes to Dan and Dave who are keeping the standards( pun not intended) high.
my favourite art-of-play product is the smoke & mirrors v5 playing cards deck! I got them years ago and they still remain my favourite deck of playing cards! I must admit the Standards playing cards just look amazing, I love the detail in the pips, especially the hearts! keep doing what you do, great work! :)
This video was so crazy and inspirational with the detail and time spent on the cards, it's just unbelievable. Besides all of the playing cards I've bought from Art of Play, I would say that I am a fan of the Come In/Go Away doormat they sell. Very subtle and funny as an inside joke when having it at my front door. Thanks for the great quality video, keep them coming!
Favourite deck from AoP? I am quite fond of the Papercuts. Like the Standards, I really do admire the amount of effort that was put into making that deck. I think that it's a great thing to incorporate such a beautiful and traditional art form into a deck of cards. My only regret is that I didn't snag one for myself when I was at the AoP warehouse.
The beauty! The elegance! Unfortunately, have never owned an Art of Play deck or product... Grrrr, but the Drifters are a deck I have always wanted to own, and the lock puzzle with the broken key looks to be so much fun!
As a big fan of the Citizens deck, this was a very happy sight. And I am extra happy that you are giving away the black version (which is totally my favorite out of the three) My favorite art of play product is the paper ornithopter, there is just something about an ornithopter to evoke imagination for me, I have always wanted one. and one day it shall sit upon my desk/shelf or so help me.
Favorite Art of Play product would have to be the Hanayama puzzles. I currently own 28 of them and like them not only for their challenges, but also their uniqueness and the amount of artistry and engineering that goes behind each puzzle.
Tough I don't have it, my favorite item from they wonderful store is that magnetic lamp that lights up when the magnets are held close together. That is just amazing.

My favourite product/deck is the Marble cards. I have only just recently got into playing cards and handling them so my experiences are quite few but they are the easist to fan and spring. Thanks for the great videos. My card collection is growing thanks to some of your reviews
I just got a deck of black wheels and some of the Blacksmith edition Makers and both of those decks are amazing!! I love the court cards on the Makers. They’re probably my favorite of all time.
My favourite Art of Play product is for sure the art machiene deck! Its unique design makes it awesome for cadistry, although the standards look like they will be my new favourites! I love this channel and I hope for it to get the subscriber sky rocket it deserves! Keep up the awesome work!

I love the black versions box above all the others but also... the gold versions back design is so gorgeous! I couldn't easily decide if I had to choose between them. Haha too sad I can't really afford the box and all three cards yet 😂. It would be really amazing winning such am amazing deck from you Mr. Wake. I have to admit that I never felt so excited about new coming playing cards before in the short time that I've been into cards. My favorite product is their Variety Box. Just packed with great picks...and where I got their Private Reserve deck as well. Phenomenal collection when they are available.

What an amazing treasury box for amazingly detailed playing cards that are well worth their wieght in gold! They went all out for this set! The cards, the box.... Perfect. I think your 100% right about Standards being the frontrunner for playing cards of the year! What is my favorite thing at Art Of Play.... Wow, that's a tough on there. I guess if I have to narrow it down and I'll exclude the obvious thing (cards), I would have to say that I love the automata (though I don't own one yet) and the sail boat kite is awesome... It's so hard to just pick one thing. The coin puzzles are cool... Man, my favorite is the whole dang store! No matter what you click on, it's awesome! They put a lot of care and thought into their products unlike a lot of other sites like their who just pile a whole bunch of dime store stuff in with their cool stuff. I think my favourite Art of Play product are the Smoke and Mirrors Set. They were awesome when they first came out and I love each and every deck in the series. Though I still have yet to purchase the Smoke and Mirrors Private Reserve V1 as it's quite rare and pricey

The Odd Bods deck is not only, hands-down, my absolute fav Art of Play product, but also one of my all-time fav decks in my entire collection - actually, it's one of the few selected decks I bring out to help people understand exactly what I mean when I refer to "custom playing cards" and exemplifies how fun and imaginative a deck's design can be :D Not all of AoP's products are home runs, but that Odd Bods deck most def is and I hope that everyone makes room in their collection for at least one :D
I absolutely LOVE the Monarchs and Medallions. Beautiful tuck cases, and of course, the cards feel amazing. Almost too nice really, I always want to show them, but never want anyone to touch them .lol quite the predicament
My favorite product from the store has to be the Artisan playing cards designed by Simon Frouws, I've always had a soft spot for the more ornate card designs. Honestly even if I don't win I'll probably still purchase the black deck, because they're just that nice.

The Odd Bods deck is not only, hands-down, my absolute fav Art of Play product, but also one of my all-time fav decks in my entire collection - actually, it's one of the few selected decks I bring out to help people understand exactly what I mean when I refer to "custom playing cards" and exemplifies how fun and imaginative a deck's design can be :D Not all of AoP's products are home runs, but that Odd Bods deck most def is and I hope that everyone makes room in their collection for at least one :D

I absolutely LOVE the Monarchs and Medallions. Beautiful tuck cases, and of course, the cards feel amazing. Almost too nice really, I always want to show them, but never want anyone to touch them .lol quite the predicament

My favorite product from the store has to be the Artisan playing cards designed by Simon Frouws, I've always had a soft spot for the more ornate card designs. Honestly even if I don't win I'll probably still purchase the black deck, because they're just that nice.

I picked up a brass book Mark that's the size of a playinging card and designed like the ace of spades. But I'm a big fan of all of their products.

O boy, I love the vintage plaids. Especially the California red ones. They handle well, look nice and, most importantly , the smell like heaven!
Fulton's Clip joint deck is by far my favorite Art of Play (err D&D Playing Cards) release. It might even be my favorite deck to date, period.
