I feel the same way when I see this Kylie doll at Walmart or target . I just look at her like “ugh please go away “ I also get the ick because I’m so tired of the kardashian Jenner people ruling the world because they are such bad influences for everyone literally everyone , all people of all ages should not be striving to be these people or envying them
Honestly, I don't hate your list. 2023 was weird doll year. My top pick would have been "Weird Barbie" in part because of her price. Honestly, I backed away from Barbie because of the movie doll prices and availability. Mattel's pricing, distribution, and sell outs had me walk over to MGA. That said Aidan's hair is weird but I purchased him over some Barbie/Ken dolls. Sorry not Sorry.

The My Scene Swappin Styles dolls were done really well - you could switch the heads, then they had tons of fashions and fashion packs to dress them in, no matter what head was used. I miss when Mattel had more quality. Great video. 🌹Happy New Year! 🎉

Ugh, the Kylie dolls. We don't need more Kardashian stuff. Also yes, poor Aiden. RH has sone much better with their other two boys.
I agree with you totally on the ily4EVER Aladdin inspired doll, it missed the mark completely. He may as well have been a modern day Aladdin rather than a Disney Bounding doll. The whole point of the dolls is that it's people dressing up in clothes inspired by their favourite characters, it's not about someone who looks like the character essentially cosplaying them. It's such a shame because he was the first boy doll, they released a Beast inspired fashion pack at the same time - why didn't they just dress him up in that and have him as a Beast inspired doll????
And as for the Kardashian Bratz, I have no interest at all. I have never understood the fuss about the family or the reality show, I still have no idea how they became famous or even what they are famous for and why people are so obsessed with them.

Yeah, I’m with you on the Cleo and Deuce pack. if I get them, I’d have to find or make another dress for Cleo. I like the snake bodice piece and the shoes, but good grief that print! I’d like new shoes for Deuce as well, but those would be harder to make.
The worst is the movie Barbie and Ken wearing those hideous rollerblading outfits. There are dolls like Michelle from RH that would be a pretty doll if you take out the bright orange. I have seen her with natural curly hair and no orange, and she's a stunning doll.

I just got back from purchasing Runway Ruby and Monster Ball Cleo at Target and most of RH dolls on the shelves was Aiden guess he wasn’t really anyone’s favorite RH release this year

Aidan's hair alone put him on this list. We must continue to come at MGA's throats for the awful amount of hair gel they put on dolls. Can't wait to see if some of my favorite dolls of the year make it into your favorites 💓
Your top reminds me of RH Delilah Fields' second outfit. As for your picks, I agree with all of them. I bought the Tween Winnie from the head-swapping line and she was so bad that it still chaps.

I'm interested to see the original concept sketch of the Valentine's Howliday Cleo. The original designs for MH are usually way better.
Definitely agree with your placement for the mini barbies, they were a total letdown. Honestly, it's pretty embarrassing for them that the mini dream ella dolls, imperfect as they are, absolutely blow them out of the water.
I prefer boy dolls and action figures.
With Aiden, I wish they kept his purple hair and not made it white, because that's how he looked in the show.
I love ILY 4 Ever Aladdin doll, he looks good in the male fashion packs. It was weird he looked like him, especially the point was not to be too similar with their idol. But I guess, they can't make more ILY Boys and settle for him instead.
I wished the Howliday Cleo and Deuce would have better clothes. Mostly with better detail, since they have made amazing doll clothes before. And this one looks just tacky , like the G2 ones.

The Cleo and Deuce set's clothing is horrendous. Tacky city for real. There's definitely colorful but then there's straight up tacky and garish.
It doesn't help that Mattel's clothing quality is simply very cheap looking and feeling which you can even see the bad quality through the promo photos.
You also put the tweens doll and while I think that doll is also bright and somewhat tacky the clothing pieces are great quality. Like her little tights are so detailed and she has good fabrics.
So more points off for the Cleuce set and Mattel in general.
I feel the same way with the ILY Aladdin doll. He isn't bad but I really didn't like how he looks like a modern Aladdin, when all the girls didn't look like the princesses they were Disney bounding for. That's why I got the ILY boy doll from the Christmas set.
Monster high cannot design good dolls nowadays even for collectors and that’s beside the horrible quality fabrics.

I agree with most of your list tbh! I do like the 24" met gala kylie bratz but it's just because I think she's genuinely pretty. I hate that it's someone from the kardashian/jenner family...but I personally think the doll itself is really pretty. When you put Laurel & Holly + the tweevils I outloud was like "omg yes thank you!" 😂😅

I hated the peel na na na dolls 😂💯 I agree on the lol tweens head swap I only bought the curls & crimps 1 and 1 of the 9 extra heads they’ve gone on sale a lot and I just don’t feel very tempted to buy the other 3 or more heads 🤷🏻♀️. The new ones without wrist articulation tempted me more I actually have 3 of the 4 and I do plan to the blue hair 1 I skipped when I see a sale again. Awe how funny I have the Cleo & deuce 2 pack 😂 I do love the base doll of Cleo but I def redressed her.
The Valentine Monster High Pack read so Gen 2 and the AUDACITY they had to charge $60 for it (especially since those two dolls if sold separately would definitely been slim box releases with that tacky print I have NO doubt) they 100% deserve worst spot!
I agree with you on Aiden, I was a die hard fan of him being a doll, but once I severed the love for RH I didn't like his hair nor do I like the changes they made at that time, I don't mind the Aladdin doll it's the I love Mickey mouse doll that I dislike, I ended up with two of her after an unfortunate amputation that occurred during the unboxing experience, while these dolls are great they do need better bodies and details since there is going to be a void in the detailed fashion section of the doll market for a bit, I have never cared for na na na surprise dolls, and the Bratz twevils aren't my favorite characters of Bratz and never purchased them, I will admit that I didn't like the Kylie Bratz dolls at first but my friend changed my mind when he sent me a photo of the day look, and then I saw them in stores, I dont care for the Kardashians myself but the dolls have great quality for the price point and that 2 ft one wasn't a good choice either, barbie extra mini wasn't the tea for me either, i wasn't interested in the lol tweens or RH jr high, i think we are entering a new era for dolls and toys in general and that mh collector set wasn't my favorite either and i did love it at first and Cleo is my queen as well and the tinsle was horrible
I like that you let your hair grow out a bit, it's more flattering. I am not a horror fan either. I didn't like the new RBH twins dresses, their were to busy. I don't care for Bratz or Barbie, so I don't have an opinion. I don't care for doll clothes where they mix load prints, for me I would rather have a solid,color or a change in texture - but not double prints.

I must agree with you because i didn't buy any of these.
I had such a hard time coming up with my own list so Ill be commenting on your list instead (a cop out I know, but I don't buy dolls I don't like so if I only comment about doll I bought then those dolls still arent the worst of the year and I can easily forget dolls I don't buy). Oh yeah thats an issue too if I included barbie in my list my whole list would be barbies
Aiden: yeah totally agree
Aladdin ILY: I'm not interested in ILY to begin with, but this one totally missed the point of the series too so its a miss on several levels I agree
Chucky and Tiffany: I don't not agree. I think fandom aside the dolls are fine as they are and dolls with genuinely bad designs should take the cake instead. But I also don't like these either
Nanana dolls: 100%. While this isn't a fashion design problem, designing an entire line with a terrible gimmick where the doll you get afterwards is a doll with rubber clothes is a toy design problem. It was one thing for the mini but as full size? Absolutely not
Laurel and Holly jh: 100% disagree these are the best jh dolls we've ever gotten
Tweevils: I don't know about worst becuz they're supposed to look like this, but I also wouldn't say they look "good" either
Bratz kylie: YES, yes, and yes. This was such a crazy decision and they made SO many dolls of one person like wth. There are ALOT on clearance in walmart so it looks like the tribe agrees too lol
Bratz mini minis: Yup I agree. These are ugly
Lol head swap: yeah. Like to me the gimmick has a lot to do with it but also the separate head doesn't work on the outfits. I did get my one and I like my one but the rest of the line is really bad and the gimmick as a whole was bad. Its worth mentioning I bought billie for like 15 bucks so I did NOT pay that terrible price
Cleo and Deuce howliday: this is like the 1 monster high doll release I would agree to go on a list like this. Like they went SO wrong with the outfits and the colors for cleo. What worse is I love every other howliday release. I even loved Clawdeen. But for some reason this pack and the next love edition pack we've yet to get just drop the ball. One gets to be ok but then the other has to be terrible

I think the reasion the devious twins are in fancy cocktail dresses is because their junior high dolls are supposed to be a revamp of their original solls. The outfits on their first dolls were hideous and this feels like an attempt to remedy that. Kind of like the JH Avery doll.
As a long time Bratz fan who grew up with the Rock Angelz movie, I hate the Tweevils dolls and really don't get why they exist! Their outfits are so plain and ugly, which is the point, but they were never designed to BE dolls. It's like when MH made dolls of the webisode background characters like Scarah: cool in concept but never intended to be a doll and the outfits reflect that. Also I get that the Tweevils aren't meant to look like the Bratz either, but their face moulds creep me out

Your top worst dolls have the cheapest looking clothes I've ever seen, moulded hair should be banned in collector dolls, along with all moulded clothes on all doll lines apart from the tiny dolls obviously! My opinion 😊
