- Hello design champs! Today I went through four of your logo designs. Some of them were personal logos and some of them were logos for other projects. I'm not sure if all of my redesigns were a good direction but hopefully each designer can take at least one thing as an idea for their logo. Thanks for being here guys!

Thanks for redesigning my logo, I loved it! I'm a little bit embarrassed because you put it on thumbnail, but no worries. I'm over the moon. You made my day. Also, you pronounced my name correctly, great job Zim😹

Wow the vinyl one impresses me much, AMAZING!
The cat/cheese/cup one is great but the pupils are weird; would have been much better with a slit pupil. Looks more like an owl right now.
also maybe whiskers instead of the mouth
@@Sylvarus I thot when he placed the "mouth" it looked like a nose so therefore a somewhat heart shape or kitty nose shape there instead.? or the usual kitty cheeks/mouth define

9:20 I would argue that enlarging the flame makes it seem to read, "TOBYO PASTA". Perhaps changing the color of the flame would fix this.

for the next designer vs designer i suggest a more vintage design, cuz we've seen so many modern projects and a good designer should be versatile...

The most insane thing is they are the most simple of changes that make such a MASSIVE difference. Zimri you truly are a design champion. What did I ever do without this channel I stumbled on that I have no reason to watch.. you changed the way I look at logos... but WHY??

Your channel is so refreshing and unique. Addicted to all the vids! Love the battles and the YGR. Brilliant all around and don't listen to the randoms coming in because of YGR blowing up, it's part of it.
*Dinda Oktami:* I think you improved it a lot! But I'd really like to see a mouth that resembles a cat's one. Oh, and I definitely wouldn't drink cheese flavored coffee, but never say never :P *Airballoons WHOOSH:* I feel like the logo could use some lines to help close the overall balloon shape (I took a glance and saw a lightbulb for a sec jajajajaj) But I really like how playful you made it!!!
*Amanda Dourado:* I like the softness that the pink gradient provides to the design :D . I'd probably change the font to a non-geometric sans serif, considering that a name should be readable no matter what but that's just an opinion.
*Niklas Braun:* Yasss, really clever use of shape and whitespace!!! :)
Airballons: He mumbled something about "Edison" at the onset. i.e. light bulb. post shrinking the basket size, I thot the balloon still looked like a light bulb so think it was still not the correct shape yet.

I'm in LOVE with the changes made to the vinyl store design. So much easier on the eyes and the concept is immediately clearer
I may be a few days late but thanks for checking out my logo Zimri! I love your idea with the flame and I'll readjust it to fill in the space! Also, if anyone is interested in what the font is; it's called Abys and it has a creative commons license! I also used the font to make the flame with these symbols "()" and I used the warp tool and some readjustments to put it together! You truly made my day though! YOU RULE! Keep up the great work! Love your videos!
I think all the improvements look great, especially the first one because it made such a big difference. I love how nice and positive you are in your videos! Also side note, they're making a Shrek 5. Lol
I know that minimal is the way to go, but I think that if we added a little bit of a curve to the record where it meets the white edge, just in the slightest (the edges slightly upturned), it will give the record a more curvy look. And thus enhance it's "recordiness".
The Airballoons redesign was awesome! The original design just looked like a bulb. No whoosh.
The redesign looks much more whooshy and I finally understand that the icon is a balloon

This sentence made me realize so much about why I had a problem with flat desing and ”simplistic icons” .
It makes no sense to draw a straight shadow on a bulb. That just confuses your eye as it makes the bulb appear as if it was a wedge rather than a rounded shape!
Finally, I realize what the problem with the old flat design was

I do like all your logo redesigns ! But i do not like the last one , the flame may be mistaken with an "O" and it could be read as "Tobyo"

I disagree because why would there be two completely different designs for the Os, there is already an O that looks different from the flame.

on the Balloon logo you could add a small brown square (sandbag) and a rope that would tilt the balloon in the way you did it, it would add a more of a finishing touch and contrast :) best of luck!

I feel like the curved ears on the cat mug cheese thing makes it a lot more fluid and works well with the curved shape of the mug

Nice redesigning on the vinyl logo. I would have make the bg black and the record player too, to make the line/space between both blocks seem like the record/cd being played.
