    I have been using the 75inch variant for about 2 months now. Only issue for me is lag when playing 4k HDR videos (I have good internet). The motion issue might be due to upsampling settings. I set all the upsamspling settings to off and it gets rid of the motion issues.
    Update: I enabled developer settings and set the maximum opened app in the background to one. Now the occasional lag is almost gone.

      @@anthonytan5105 I have a high end TCL model and is lagging playing 4k content over wifi, although the router is 1-2m away. I'm not having any problems now with the tv connected by cable.
      One exception being the official twitch app. There is a third party app that works well.

    Mine doesn't have any vertical or horizontal banding since I got it in September last year. I already calibrated it by mixing some calibrated settings from Sony X90L, Sony A95L and Samsung S95C. And it worked well having a picture quality nearly identical with Samsung S90C.

    Im thinking of getting this tv because of the 120hz that i will get when playing with my Ps5. And also for watching movies with great quality. Would you recommend me getting this TV?

    • @SpookyFairy
      @SpookyFairy  Месяц назад +2

      I love this TV, superb image quality. Aside from the vertical banding that I almost never notice, it's just perfect all across the board. So overall, yes, I do recommend. That being said, I always recommend reading other people's comments, especially those who tested many TVs and have much more experience with TVs than I do (I have very little).

    I didnt really understand. What seems to be the issue with backlight?

    • @SpookyFairy
      @SpookyFairy  4 месяца назад +1

      I talked with a technician today and showed him a video of what's looked like an issue, and he will get back to me. I'll know for sure what's the issue if at all and if it's related to the back light (seems like it to me but not sure). I'll update once I get an answer.

    • @inceptionsd
      @inceptionsd 4 месяца назад

      @@SpookyFairy Seems like TCl implemented somme kind of global illumination adjustment which causes backlight transitions more noticable in terms of a subtle flicker.

      Upon inspection of the technician with the video and pictures I showed them. They decided to replace the TV. I'll make a video about later. So apparently it is an issue. Question is whether it will exist on the replacement or not, whether it's something that is common or not. I'll share more once I get the replacement which will arrive with a technician to check that it doesn't have as well the same issue I reported with the first one.

      @@SpookyFairy does they plan to release any kernel update to fix this motion issue

    • @SpookyFairy
      @SpookyFairy  4 месяца назад +1

      When I received the second one, they installed I think v62 and the judder was much less noticeable (can't tell 100% if that's because of the new update they installed on my TV) . For me on 10 judder reduction there is judder, but reducing judder to about 5 and not using Dolby IQ should help out (just choose another Dolby). Tell me if that worked out. Oh, also you might want to check if there is a way to turn off sampling (when playing lower res) it might help. Not sure where it is in the settings, haven't touched it yet.

      I got a second TV and the backlight lines were there, might be a bit worse but honestly, I don't notice it almost at all. It's usually apparent in solid dark gray color areas. In some games for example it might be annoying but in most part it's a non-issue for me. I've read that it's quite common for VA panel. I can't say about the Q80C as I haven't had this one. Hopefully others can share more about both.

      Crossing fingers you get a good one no issues. The C755 has everything I wanted all in one and it comes in 50" (55" is way too big, I can even be fine with 45" if such existed). So even if it's not better, I'll be fine with it, but it's worth giving it a shot. I'm very happy with the TV overall.
