i got so stunned by that panditji's statement as "Betiya to vese b mata k samaan hoti hai", like truly in our country we do say this, but not all people do follow it.. but what a kind gesture man.. so beautiful, so heartwarming, seriously Uttarakhand people are so good, so genuine and honest people
I totally second the opinion on Uttarakhand people. Very kind and helpful. My scooty brokedown on the way to neelkant. And so many many people hopped on to help in whatever way they could. Truly Uttarakhand is devbhoomi.🙏🙏
My solo trips...at many places including Rishikesh ..were the best ..At Rishikesh ..you can spend lesser ..I stay at zostel which Is for rs 699 or so...and rent a scooty for rs 400 a day ..food would be Rs 500 per day (nice food ok)...I guess for 5 days: you would spend Rs 8500 only yaar...maximum .You can include a River rafting adventure activity also in that...rent scooty . Stay at zostel...eat well...walk...meditate..create art..sing at restos...bingo..thats how you live life fully..and yes I met some very very beautiful co travellers Indians and foreigners both
Rishikesh is indeed a very special place. It sure has a different vibe. everybody looks happy there. No other place pulled on my heart strings as Rishikesh did. had been on a solo trip to Kangra, Dharamshala Mcleodganj and then to Rishikesh and Haridwar. something about the people of the mountains. They are all so kind. I travelled entire Dharamshala by taking lifts !! Whenever I showed a hand and asked, I was almost never refused unless the rider was going in a completely different direction. Same with Rishikesh. Met a complete stranger - a local , chatted over some chai and Paratha and he offered to show me around Rishikesh. People dont hesitate to approach and help. I observed something beautiful and it was how everybody loved animals there. I was staying in a hotel near the 13 floor temple and every morning I went to a Paratha cart for my breakfast. i came across so many people petting calves, dogs, cows, feeding them, even giving cuddles to calves. and dogs. almost every cattle had a fixed place be it a shop or home where it would get food apart from the goshalas that fed them. I saw homeless men near Parmarth Niketan who had shawls wrapped around their favourite stray dog to keep it warm. they would beg for milk to feed the stray. The Arti and the rituals at the Triveni ghat is just divine. Ive seriously been thinking of moving there for good after my trip.
Hare Krishna just want to thank you for uploading this video I don't know when I will be able to do such a thing because of my medical condition I am confined to bed but I am still alive and I am able to tour virtualy thanks to youtuber.s like you and of course mercy of Krishana . I truly belive very soon I will be able to come to India and do all my things in my bucket list. Hare Krishna.
I wish you speedy recovery. train your mind to overcome your physical condition. I am sure you will do it. Do come to Rishikesh. This place will heal you further. I too used to wonder why people come to Rishikesh and never go back. its only when I visited, the vibe the energy in that place is what is so different.
Here I am today in Rishikesh, after spending over a year in the hospital recovering from major surgery. Alive, strong, and backpacking solo. If I can do it, anyone can!
I would've gone for the Bungee and all but the 16kms rafting was adventurous enough with the boat capsizing horribly owing to the idiots who didn't take directions (Me and my friend were doing our best to paddle but the rest were just being silly)... Shall plan another trip out soon. It's a nice place that has a LOT to explore.
There is no train from Mussoorie to rishikesh. Because dehradun is the last train station. You can come to dehradun by bus and then take a train, but rishikesh is not far from dehradun.
Enjoyed watching many facets of Rishikesh. I did not know about the adventurous part. Always thought of it as a religious place. Bungee jumping and the dip you took was gutsy. I hope I have the stomach for it. Interesting to see the Beetles place as well. Would love to visit Rishikesh soon.
Hi can you describe the trip in hindi its good to connect with more peoples and understand them.its really good and valuable trip by u . And one more suggestion or request to use as much as possible public transport to save cost. Heads up lets rock with some more trips
if its a solo trip who handle camera ,we can see sometimes you r not handling it.its not a big problem.i ask becoz i need to know security issues if really travel alone.
What's the need of putting this title? 15K for 4 days is more than wnough in Rishikesh. It's not like you're cutting corners and hacking your way through your stay.

Very informative. Can you let me know places to avoid, if any
none. Rishikesh is so beautiful be it the rivers or the mountains or the streets. The people are amazing and the experiences are even more so.
Spending 15k on Rishikesh vo bhi solo. That's very expensive. Can be done under 8k very easily
I can do it in less then 5k including river rafting
15k is too costly for rishikesh
