47 years old and it destroys anything put out so far this century.
Good grief don't remind me!
Even Cardi B's W.A.P.? LOL
Idk, tool is pretty solid for modern music
You really are a fan. That's a large statement. Too large.. You should listen to other music besides zeppelin
@@theywright9960 bro he's pretty accurate not really that much great music has come out from 2000-2023
This tune is one of my favorites. I'm 14 again with my buds driving around in a 72 Gran Torino lighting bone after bone.
Alright Alright Alright
This is in my top five of Led Zeppelin songs and I don't know why. This song is like gravity; it works. You pointed it out; everything was fantastic which is something I can say about the whole album. "Physical Graffiti" shows the band at it's most mature and creative peak, imo.
its that heavy driving riff
It’s got an ethereal vibe. The tasty lead guitar fills at the end are addicting!
Hey Biz, the istrument that JPJ is playing during the intro is called a Mellotron. It is rarely used now but look it up, it has an interesting design and function. JPJ used it live on Stairway to Heaven and the Rain Song.
This is a great song and one that hardly ever gets reacted to for some reason.
Another fabulous song on a marvelous album!
JPJ is a Magician on that Keyboard Organ..... No Words....
Jpj was like many bassist/keyboard ist sort of like a big quiet ninja could write music that hits you before you hit the canvas. Ha
Trampled under foot.
Simultaneously bass track and keyboard
Can’t wait for “Ten Years Gone” ♥️
Yes!
I remember this album coming out back in 1975. It was discussed on Belgian radio as great, but that it would have been better as a single album, not a double one, and that a lot of songs could have been left off. I bought the album as a fourteen year old kid and found it to be marvelous; just as I find it today. A great album with a lot of excellent songs, and "In The Light" is proof of the greatness of Led Zeppelin. Amen. Love yer channel, by the way. Yer crazy, in a good way. Love and greetings from Belgium.
when love is pain it can devour you , so true , great lyrics from Robert. the ending is so uplifting
Can’t wait for you to get to “Ten Years Gone”, man. One of my favorite songs by Zep.
The best underrated zeppelin song IMO!
Led Zeppelin is a unique band for the time period, definitely pioneers for modern music. The drums in this one get me Everytime!
68 yrs old and ive never heard better since they came on the scene….been a fan since i was 14….they don’t have a bad song….the G.O.A.T.S….
An audio massage of the brain right here. Takes me back.
Their best album, IMHO.
Another commenter mentioned the quality of the music and the lyrics. To the point, I have loved this song and album since first hearing it. One particular time stands out. I was probably 20. Going though some shit, like all kids. Driving my 69 mustang fastback down the meadowbrook parkway on Long Island miserable and feeling sorry for mys self. Popped Physical Graffiti popped in the deck. Beautiful sunny day… first words… and if you feel like you can’t go on… the plaintiff intro music Was exactly what I was feeling. and all the rest. God…at tha point in time sent me a message and a sunny day through Zeppelin. It was the perfect message that told me to get a hold yourself and look to the light. That moment is still with me today 25 years later.
I've been waiting a long time for some one to react to this song. I'm glad it was you.
🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
The only words I can think is , what a phenomenal group of Rockstars. Timeless Musical Masters.
My fav part of this whole video … the pen drop!!! “Brilliant sir” 👏👏👏
Another 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Zeppelin review!!! Thanks fam 💞
🙌🏿🙌🏿
For the opening, John Paul Jones is playing a synthesizer and Jimmy is bowing an acoustic guitar. Jimmy considered this song one of his favorites from Physical Graffiti. It definitely has a bit of "other worldliness" to it with the instrumentation and it's awesome how the music sounds like it starts to rise with the "in the light" chorus; almost as if you are ascending upwards (because everybody needs the light) and finally to transcendence.
I rarely hear this so that was a real treasure to work our way through that. Yeah, this is one of those songs that is so important that is in their catalog. It's just beautiful on every level. It's so cool that you're doing this stuff album by album. I've been working my way through it what a year after the fact? But here's where I'm at, I did start with the very first song on the very first album.
In The Light The Baby !!!
Zeppelin is the GOAT. 💥💥💥
We are still here Indeed! Luv ur Reactions- Thank You for keppin’ it Real!!!! U Rock!!
🙌🏿
Best thing about Zeppelin is that you can listen to each song with a focus on one musician and get a different enjoyment with each listen.
All four of them are absolute masters of their art, and together they dominate rock.
No better band, ever.
And this song is my favourite, this album their best, IMO.
Wanna give a shout out to JPJ right off... that's him on the Mellotron (type of keyboard). JPJ doesn't get enough love sometimes (not from u, from the public in general!!) Good call NOT calling it bagpipes Biz!!!😂🤣😂 Just saying! Anywhoo, that stank face in some parts was awesome... I feel ya on that!!👏👏👏 This song is so different (in a good way!) it's impossible to do anything but make a stank face while u just feel ur way through it!!😊 The lyrics are definitely powerful in this one and your pen-drop was SPOT ON!! Amen to that part of your commentary!!🙏 Love can definitely devour us whole!!😔 But enough of that!!🤦♀️ Let's GOOOOO.... "Bron-Y-Aur Stomp"!!! Oh my freaking word, you're gonna LOVE IT, and get ready to move cuz ur NOT gonna have choice with that one!!🙃 Awesome reaction as ALWAYS Biz!!😎 Love ya and peace and light fam!!💕
When someone else can elevate Led Zep songs to the level they did others, i'll also call them original;)
...and Ten years gone, heck all four sides of this vinyl...no filler.
Another amazing album. They were the best.
*ARE,,,,
CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED ZEPIC!!!
Yes! One of their very best!
Incredible rift, deep lirycs. One of my favorite Led Zeppelin songs. Unfortunately no live versions available.
Monster song! It's like living your own life in tune with the entire universe!
Love this song and many others on this album. Saw them go it live in 79’
Great song, one of their best.
Love the keyboard....almost a religious experience
The baddest ✌
Jimmy opens the song by bowing the guitar.
I love this song.
I can't think of a better start to the second disc of any double album in history. It's close to the best song on the album I think. And PHYSICAL GRAFFITI is my favourite Zeppelin album. One of those in the discussion for best albums ever.
This is where Tool was born from, the ashes of this song
Just great fun! But Biz- don't skip Kashmir- do a live version- say the Celebration Day, 2007 joint: they are a bit older, and Jason perforce sits in for his Dad Bonzo- but man, they still got it. And how! Peace.
Biz I can’t wait for you to Boogy with Stu... amazing drum work and you won’t be sitting still!
Awesome as always.
Off Physical Graffiti, this a great tune from my favorite Zep album!!
For your next Zep reaction, do not do Bron-Yr-Aur by itself, it is a short instrumental which works best as an introduction to Down by the Seaside. It works best if both songs are done together.
He already did that one Charles … 8 months ago … 🤷♀️
@@sheilajenkins8927 He did Bron-Y-Aur Stomp 8 months ago, different song.
@@charlesgervais4673 yep, my bad … typed too soon 🤦♀️🤷♀️😂
@@sheilajenkins8927 No worries! It can be a little confusing.
@@charlesgervais4673 yeah, while I love many songs off this album I never purchased it and was totally unaware of all the tracks on it … ya live and learn though right 😉😂
This is a fantastic song. Gothic and psychedelic. 🤘🔥
Probably my favourite Zeppelin song! :)
Great tune,!
Max Buzzzzzzzz + patented Bonham crunch. Yes!
Physical Graffiti is an absolute masterpiece. The whole album is fire.
Believe it was a Hurdy Gurdy? That Eastern influence is a beautiful thing.
Jimmy is bowing the guitar at the song opening.
Like, Like like...hit the liiiiike!
You should listen to "The Good Stuff" and/or "There Goes My Life" by Kenny Chesney.
It's a shame you have to skip Kashmir but I get it. Just really love that song.
An overlooked song, that never got radio play. Nice choice. Always liked the song. A bit long, but that's O.K.
The start was guitar played with a bow, and a mellotron.
Wonder where that eight track went to?
this is the best one. i like the vibe
Jimmy Page is sublime with guitars licks on this track
The First thing you hear on this is BAGPIPES, Slowly Droning. Then , John Paul Jones comes in with the Synthesized Keyboards 🎹 !
There's a good version of this song called (early version/in transit). Worth checking out if you're a fan.
It was a hurdy gurdy and JPJ on keys
🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
React to oasis live forever
It's a synthesizer
It starts out gloomy and ends in the light.
Down by The Seaside was the best
❤❤❤❤❤
🤘😎🤘
This one is their most mystic and weird song in my opinion, yet it's one of their most harmonically complicated and original songs
P.S. The strange instrument in the beginning is most likely just a synthesizer with some effects
Jimmy is bowing the guitar at the song opening.
most beautiful eh? And I love the way the song sucked you in....your becoming a fan?
Synthesizer in the beginning.
Tolkien influenced....big time
