I still remember the first time I saw this video in 2012, I said to myself "this is amazing they are fighting on the dragon!!" and then 4:14 started playing and it was the most epic thing I'd seen up to that point.

Well, pretty good for such a boring fight. I've noticed one little detail, though. Did Verdísha multibox? There's original Verdísha and mage Verdishax. Or was it different accounts?
Eh. This fight absolutely necessitated stacking like 10 arcane mages. I think it still stands as the most egregious example of raid stacking.
Healing at it's golden age, mana had to be regenerated by somehow, not just spamming lesser healing wave

You know. If Deathwing wanted to be sure he succeeds in his Cataclysm. Couldn't he just turn upside down for a second so the heroes fall from his back? I mean.. damn.
regardless of the whole deathwing encounter being kinda bad.. Spine will always remain as one of the most cruel fights the game ever had.

1) Top guild premises - plz be positive and clean
2) This kill is a work of beauty... compared to other pro kill videos, this one I actually understand and can see what they did.
3) Note that the mass blood stun didn't look like one stun... it looked like multiple stuns going out together. Insane coordination!
4) I didn't see one drop of unwanted blood anywhere on the back... really really amazing

There's still a bit more involved I think, Korea and Taiwan, were getting 2 raid lockouts a week up to firelands. Which means they were able to pump out double the amount of orange sticks compared to the US and guilds not in Korea and Taiwan.
God damn amazing raider and there video's are so damn good keep up the good work guys.
Kin raiders didn't use any bugs. They planned out their LFR runs yes, but not like BL. Read their intereview; they ran LFR about 26 times with their ALTS to make sure the MAINS got the gear they needed.
Paragon might not be worlds best, But sure as hell makes the best vids about their XP!

I think he's just so prideful that he doesn't think anyone can beat him, up until the end.
Even though Paragon did not get World First they are still my favorite guild because despite the fact they lost their chance at world first due to a ban they still put out amazing videos that make it FEEL like a World First kill.
I think i will answer that one for ye.
If you leave 2 up while rolling and kill one during the roll it means that you will have your Amalgation a few seconds faster than if you had started to DPS the 4th and last corruption, while doing the barrel roll.

@Larreyftw u need to do 1920x1200 project and render it with 1920x1200 too, but there is no point doing it if you dont play 1920x1200 resolution and kahva does.

How is verdisha's mage and warrior both in there at the same time? is he dual-boxing and playing his mage on tendons for the burst? Wouldn't that sacrifice extra dps from his warrior?
not sure if anyone asked this already, but why do the 2 dks have 'hunter' colored unit frames, in kahva's raid frames? is that to confuse others about the setup or...? i am curious XD

Aiii, I totally forgot where the article is (It was MMO-champion or something like that) But yeah they explained that they had 2 raid lockouts cause by technicality, their region started the FL patch later than everyone else or something like that. In the # of weeks, everyone got the same number.
it's patch 6.2 and every week i feel so nervous when i start the spine to do it solo, i don't know how much composure you must have to do it in a raid xD
+RedJiffa It was insane to progress on, you needed top notch dps and not a single spell could get wasted

Well you weren't constantly rolling when you had a spread out raid but it was a pain in the ass nonethelss , the nerfs helped tho.
i'm bad at raiding anyway, i think i wouldn't be able to do it hahaha
just because the game gained a brider audience doesnt mean raiding came essentially easier. if you had gear, you could kill bosses. If blizzard would step up the gearcheck abit we wouldnt have instances cleared in 2 weeks on heroic.
T11 was, besides HLK, t6,t5, t3, one of themost difficult tiers so far, and spine heroic,even tho in t13, was a cruel fight.
I remember when no one held a candle to Paragon in WotLK. But now Paragon is just another 25m raiding team.
He does- they use tentacles to hold on. Do some research. First time is at 1:07 when second to last tentacle dies, they stand in the wound of a previously killed tentacle which grips you, if you watch closely you can see Deathwing's wings stop flapping and the background rushing past vertically- that's the flip. It's not very obvious because of the camera being locked on to the toon, but it does become obvious when you stand in the wrong place and fall off and can't even be combat ressed;)
How did you manage to have Verdísha (warrior) AND Verdishax (mage) at the same time? :P
He does that during the fight, but if you stand in his wounds you stick to his back and you don't end up falling of.

lol there's like a hundred bloods being kited by the tank just before sixth (final) armor plate uptime. And NO unwanted bloods on the floor whatsoever, that's amazing. My guild had hard time downing spine on 25 percent nerf, we finally did it at 30 percent now (together with savior) but it's nowhere near as hard as pre-nerf. You can one shot tendons now with decent ilvl and /tar burning tendon keybound macro (to save time lost on manually clicking tendons)

@bloodpuremager The thing is, on both this fight and on Madness there is nothing going on in the beginning, so it would be almost completley silent until last plate/the last platforms.

Though paragon is a pretty amazing guild.
The mechanics of this fight were load up on burst dps (think it was arcane mages and rogues at the time) and time bloodlusts to perfection. With pre-nerf taunt off tanking as warrior was simples but miss one kill on time cos of dps (had to be burst dps) and you were fucked.
where can i find Kahva's grid settings?
Yeah, you know. 27k while cleansing. + I'm sure you've killed DW pre nerf, or even pre 30 percent, right? And I'm sure you know that mastery wouldn't have done very much on this particular fight with all of the burst damage and debuffs going out.
It's one of the abilities he does, but there is a way to avoid falling off.
