ACCEPTED Brown Video Portfolio (2028)

Brown University is unique because it uses video portfolios to help humanize applicants instead of traditional alumni interviews.
I learned about these video portfolios late in my freshman year and immediately began planning. During a trip to the East Coast, I toured Brown and shot a portion of the video in the beginning. I actually filmed more, but I had to cut much of it due to time constraints.

Software: Final Cut Pro
Camera: Canon M50(past portion) and iPhone 14 Pro(present portion)
Dogs: Shiba Inus named General Douglas MacArthur (white) and Hachi (Sesame)
In total, editing, shooting, and planning this video took close to 30 hours as I had to learn how to edit videos from scratch.
And a huge shoutout to my Coach Erika, who helped me through my plateaus with my fencing and was my rock through it all.
