Wow, you two have both just named a whole bunch of my favourite bands! This family just keeps getting cooler and cooler! You're certainly correct about the weirdness of hearing your favourite songs (which still *feel* new!) on a "classics" radio station. As soon as you get to be just a little teeny-tiny bit older, suddenly time starts to feel all stretchy and weird! Tell the kids that they'll feel it someday too! 🚀

Watching and hearing this reminds me so much of my childhood with the same music. My mom played the Eagles 8 tracks and records all the time. Whenever we went anywhere, we would sing along. Thank you both for reminding me of the many great memories I had growing up. 💙
This was a super fun episode which only makes the 2 of you seem so much cooler! Both of those guitars are awesome- that scorpion rocks! I wanted to share a personal story about the Eagles. It is always cool when music can bring people closer together! For many years lived in Scottsbluff, NE which was the hometown of Randy Meisner. They had tons of his stuff in Applebees & many people had stories about him. I worked for an adult care facility & helped care for his Mom. It was a tad weird to hear my coworkers refer to this famous person as either Mr. Randy or Mr. Meisner. His mom was a wonderful fun person who always brought a smile to others- sometimes she would sing for us. I was there when my coworker had to call Randy to inform him of her passing. I helped clean up the room & some things were going to be sent back to him. Honestly I wish I would have saved something from her to remember her by, but I didn't want to be seen as a vulture. It was sad to see so many pictures & (signed) cards thrown away. She really was an awesome lady & one of my favorites @ that place & the staff had only positive things to say about Randy. PS- I once dressed as Michael Jackson down to the afro, white glove & face paint.
I’m a professional musician, so music (especially guitar and vocals) is huge to me. That Eagles guitar is the Gibson SG style. Speaking of the Eagles… Michael Nesmith from the Monkees said that his post-Monkees solo band had a unique “country rock” style that he was sure would be a hit! But the record companies didn’t think that style would catch on, so he abandoned it. Not long after that, Mike said, he heard the Eagles on the radio… playing the same country rock style that the music companies talked him out of. He said he wishes he’d had stayed with it, because his solo band would have been huge like the Eagles were! Thanks for doing these hang outs. 🙌
That's a cool outdoor area your dad has! And that signed guitar by the Eagles, and album signed by ACDC with that guitar!! Woah!! Some great stories too! Classic Rock, there's nothing else like it!! Van Halen, Boston, REO, Triumph, 707!! Thank you and your Dad for sharing some more!!!
The concert in Charleston I’m going to..,, I named the wrong darn bands! 🤦🏻♀️ It’s Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, Common Kings, and The Elovaters! I’m crossing my fingers Stick Figure makes a surprise guest appearance!! 🤞
Great show. Hotel California by the Eagles is a great song. I remember my uncle and mom put that song. ACDC Highway to hell is great song I enjoy listening.
Such good memories. And, at least for me, it’s amazing how a hearing a song can bring back a flood of memories or even feelings! Thanks so much for watching!
Hahahah! Only for the nookie! 😂 never was a huge fan of them at the time they were big. Even though Fred durst apparently grew up not too far from where I live. I was listening to electronic music I. The late 90’s early 2000’s.
I RUclips "slaughter daughter" and couldn't find your channel, think the word Slaughter is hidden in search or something... Just an FYI, I only found your channel cause someone else linked in a description on another video

Such a good genre!
@@SlaughterDaughter I do mostly like old skool rock because it has better quality than the new rock. Rob Zombie, Linkin Park.
My Dad would do that with Bob Segers Greatest Hits cd as a kid. My Father would play it over and over on road trips for my Soccer Tournaments etc..
Such good memories. And, at least for me, it’s amazing how a hearing a song can bring back a flood of memories or even feelings! Thanks so much for watching!
You guys are hilarious!!! Love the Eagles!!
