A wonderful video. The fundamentals of the search campaign have been explained in a very lucid and detailed manner. This will be going to help many new learners who want to explore their careers to Google Adwords. Please keep posting some advanced campaigns on Google Adwords like Sales, App installs, etc. Awaiting to see some more such videos in days to come on varied subjects related to paid campaigns in different verticals of digital marketing
Hey Benjamin, could a reason for minimising the number of headlines and descriptions in an responsive adgroup is to ensure you have your brand in the headline/description? I have only brand name keywords, to do a brand name ad, so this would be logical right? unfortunately my URL doesnt have my full brandname (acronym)
One of the most thorough and informative tutorial videos I've ever watched. He clearly and concisely walks the viewer through each step. Excellent work. ...and thank you!
I'm currently doing the coursework for the Google Ads certification. I'm at the point in the instruction where we haven't done any actual walkthroughs and, being purely conceptual, it has been a bit of a challenge for me to wrap my head around; your video brought it all together -- thank you!
This has to be one of the best, if not THE best, walkthrough tutorials I've ever found on YT. Been looking for something clear and not condescending like this for ages. As you only made the video a few weeks ago, I know why now! lol! Only thing that could be improved is a list of timestamps for each section so I can refer quickly to a section I need to watch a few times.
Thank you! I was just given an ad grant for the nonprofit I'm supporting and while I used to use advertising agencies to do this work when I worked for a big brand, now I feel like I can do it myself to help the little guys. Excellent tutorial!!
I see people really liked this. I'm such a beginner that I found you assumed I knew how to navigate and I got lost towards the end...not sure how to find the page you are on at 38:08 or a little before that...but I like that you are patient and take your time.
I’ve selected a campaign and then and ad group in the main menu on the left (dark grey menu), then I selected ‘Keywords’ from the sub-menu on the left (light menu). The navigation can be confusing if you’re just getting started.
Thank you very much ! I being doing everything wrong starting with google smart sales campaigns that just burn my money very quickly and not sales at all! I am trying your advice will come back to you hopefully with goods news !!!
Benjamin I can't thank you enough. I have always been daunted working with Google Ads but your easy-to-follow lesson made the process much easier to engage with.
Thank you so much for this AWESOME video. I answered all my questions , something that Google Ad support could not answer. I had to send an email to Google Ad and got no response yet and this is day 4. Your great!!!!
Hello there! I really loved your video. A question came to mind, if you are promoting a product instead of a blog, would you still choose a search campaign type or perhaps another type? Thanks!
Thank you! Very useful information - conveyed in a clear and concise voice. I'm a litttttttle overwhelmed, as a complete newbie, so I'm sure I'll have to re-watch several ties, but I feel so much more educated than when the video started. Thanks again!
Just wanted to share that text ads ARE available to you as well. They just pretty much hide it. When you first open the responsive ad optio, looks for a blue URL-like text saying "Switch to Text ads mode" or something along those lines and you'll be able to create your own text ads A/B testing

Thank you so much for this video. I did everything you said, but I see a status I don't understand. Can you please explain what it means ad group "not eligible"?
Excellent job of explaining the basics of search ads. It was very easy to follow your instructions. I will watch this video again. I look forward to watching more of your videos such as conversions.
fantastic training ...... it would be so much easier to follow if you used a 'normal' business as the example eg a bakery, instead of your google analytics blog, that makes it more difficult to follow for someone new to google ads and all of the related terminology....but thanks so much....exceptional training....
Interesting material, but I have such a question, and the money will be deducted for any click on my ad? or how can I set up for buying or adding an item to the cart?
Very informative. Thanks for posting. It might have been slightly more digestable if it was done in 2 parts; 52 minutes of high density content is a stretch.
It might sound silly to some but I am not entirely sure about this. How does google gather/estimate conversions? Do we need to set conversions in our Google Ads account or Google learns by itself which users are most likely to convert? Right now we are using the Manual CPC approach for several months and we would like to become more automated on conversions. Thank you for the great content!
You will want to setup conversion tracking (watch ruclips.net/video/VxFJcfqsbFE/видео.html for details) and you do have the option of moving to CPA bidding using your conversion data. You might also want to check out the enhanced conversions beta at support.google.com/google-ads/answer/9888656
Thank you for the video, very useful and one of the best on line. This video delivers very easy steps by steps guidance on how to create google ads campaign. Thank you for sharing.
Great...Great...Great.. Love all your videos! I want to take the Google Ads Certification. Do you offer any test/prep/course to help me study for the test? Thanks in advance.
Thank you, this is an awesome video, step by step! One question: Do I have to create 2 ad groups within the same ad. I am new to Google ads, so this was the easiest video to set up my first ad, but I only did one with no additional groups. Thank you, great video.
I'm so glad you found my video helpful! So if you're getting started, I would have one campaign with one ad group in the campaign. Then you would have five to ten closely related keywords in the ad group, along with two or three ads.
@@LovesData Thanks so much. I did my first ad. I will have to keep learning as placing ads may seem easy, but it is not. So thank you again for the tutorial. Very helpful! great channel!
Brilliant overview, thanks for the content. I have a couple of questions though: Why not create ad variations (replace glossary with terms) instead of two ads? If Google uses synonyms in all the keyword matching strategies (broad, exact, etc) why do we need to even need to create ad variants or create ads targetting different but very similar keywords?
Thank you so much for your videos. I think you are the one who presents those kind of things the best out of all the youtubers I watch. Keep doing what you are doing ! :D
Pretty neat tut here. I started in Adwords some years ago and wanted a catch-up before testing some ideas this weekend so this info is just on point. Thank you -A
If you're just getting started, then I would avoid broad match. It will spend your budget quickly. So go with exact or phrase, and once you're achieving the results you want and hitting the limits of the keywords you are targeting, you can then look to include broad match keywords.
Very helpful video for beginners, delivered with easy to understand step-by-step guidance. Thank you for sharing!

You are guiding star for many sailors in sea of Digital Marketing !
Google is a shark and doesn't care how much money it takes.
Note Google is effectively a monopoly and they get 2.5 million searches per second.
Wow this tutorial is awesome thanks so much. I'm in a class for digital marketing and this was 10 times easier to understand as well as specific.

What is the relationship between my ad budget and CPC?
The amount you pay for clicks on your ads (CPC) comes out of your budget. For example, you could have a daily budget of $10 and spend $2 per click.

Do you have any hints on making a good bid price or any sources to refer? That would be hugely useful. Thanks

is contextual advertising enough? Or is it better to add Kms?
