If you send a good song and a good performer then at one point you will have a good result. Most of the Dutch competitors of the last few years (including this year's entry) have been working on their entry for quite a few years before they get asked (there is no national contest) to compete.

The quality difference between the original ruclips.net/video/bcnWysA9gxo/видео.html and Floor's version wasn't as great as with the Oblivion 83 but even with this the Floor version is clearly better. When you do Floor songs from the Dutch show Beste Zangers, please do them with your wife. My favorites: Vilja Lied, About Love I Don't Know a Thing and Phantom of the Opera. The concept is not a competition but singers coming together to celebrate each others' music.

Hey Tom, I really like your reactions. Back in Australia where I used to live there was a saying only a surfer knows the feeling. I can really apply that to Floor too. Only a Floor fan (no pun) knows the feeling. She is the most amazing voice out there. I´m sure there are many that could have bigger ranges etc. but Floor has a voice that is just perfect 10/10 on the beautiful and emotion evoking scale. She always gives me chills. And tears.. It was a special themed episode that was broadcasted just two hours ago dedicated to the upcoming Eurovision Song festival. Floor was not able to join the recordings due to the surgery that she's had recently, so they solved it with a stream from Floor's own studio in Sweden.

Floor's part is clearly pre-recorded, as is the video (you can easily see that the shots are from at least two different takes if you look at the position of her cape). This doesn't make the performance worse, but just to mention - a live stream with band and singer in different places is not possible in that quality, as the latencies of the double transmission would make it appear out-of-sync.

Hey Tom, I've never commented on any of the hundreds of reactions of Floor I've watched, (yes I'm a 60 year old FANBOY!). But she is the one above all! There have been many great female singers throughout history, ! And she can do it all with ease! And she is absolutely stunning to boot! Can't wait for the livestream shows coming at the end of the month, and can't wait to see Nightwish when they come to Lowell, MA in October! I had seen them here on the Decades tour which was just awesome!

Wow. This song is amazing. Of course she kills it. She slays anything she sings. If you already hadn’t I would recommend to follow her RUclips page .. you will stay in the loop pretty good then. Also Nightwish will be doing a live virtual concert coming up soon. So that is what many of us Nightwish fans are looking forward to. Floor recently had to have surgery for kidney stones and is recovering from that and trying to rehearse for the concert. I’m sure she will slay it like a Valkyrie. I’m not sure when this song was recorded. If it was a recent recording after she had her surgery then it super impressive that she could perform like that. But anytime Floor drops a new song or cover we fans just swoop in and gobble it up ASAP. They are always amazing.

Therefore she had to cancel her actual presence in the studio for this "Beste Zangers" Special for the Eurovision Songfestival. This big event (2 million spectators in over 40 countries !) is going to be held in two weeks time in The Netherlands (in Rotterdam), because Netherlands won the last contest in 2019 ("Arcade" by Duncan Laurence, worthwhile to check out as well). The song "Euphoria" won in 2012 (by Loreen from Sweden). If you want to see more of Floor's versatility, go to the regular show of "Beste Zangers 2019" (= Dutch for best singers). It's a great TV show, where famous singers sing a special song for one of their colleagues. @@frankmerris8821 yes, just go to Nightwish web site and order it, you can pay with credit cards or paypal, and you'll receive the ticket per email. They programmed 2 shows, the 28th is on Europe evening, the 29th on a more convinient time for USA. You can also re-watch the show for 48 hours. The only limitation for US people, if you buy the VIP ticket, they don't send the t-shirt outside the Europe. If I rightly understood, VIP ticket should also have a chat session with the new bass player, who will be announced just before the show.
Fabulous - shame she couldn't be in the studio with the others - but no matter - just mind blowing, the other dark haired girl - Romy Montiero - sings a great song too, in Dutch, but still great.

Also worth noting is that the reason she did this performance remotely is because she just had gall bladder surgery with pancreatitis a couple weeks ago and is not yet cleared by her doctors to fly. Does this sound like a woman who just had major abdominal surgery? She is superhuman.

Wow. This song is amazing. Of course she kills it. She slays anything she sings. If you already hadn’t I would recommend to follow her RUclips page .. you will stay in the loop pretty good then. Also Nightwish will be doing a live virtual concert coming up soon. So that is what many of us Nightwish fans are looking forward to. Floor recently had to have surgery for kidney stones and is recovering from that and trying to rehearse for the concert. I’m sure she will slay it like a Valkyrie. I’m not sure when this song was recorded. If it was a recent recording after she had her surgery then it super impressive that she could perform like that. But anytime Floor drops a new song or cover we fans just swoop in and gobble it up ASAP. They are always amazing.

Floor is singing this song from her home studio, because she is just recovering from a gall bladder operation (Yes, sir!). Therefore she had to cancel her actual presence in the studio for this "Beste Zangers" Special for the Eurovision Songfestival. This big event (2 million spectators in over 40 countries !) is going to be held in two weeks time in The Netherlands (in Rotterdam), because Netherlands won the last contest in 2019 ("Arcade" by Duncan Laurence, worthwhile to check out as well). The song "Euphoria" won in 2012 (by Loreen from Sweden).
If you want to see more of Floor's versatility, go to the regular show of "Beste Zangers 2019" (= Dutch for best singers). It's a great TV show, where famous singers sing a special song for one of their colleagues. You will hear her sing in German, Dutch, English, Spanish, opera, rock, soft balads, she can really sing everything. Enjoy you Floorgasms !

They programmed 2 shows, the 28th is on Europe evening, the 29th on a more convinient time for USA. You can also re-watch the show for 48 hours.
The only limitation for US people, if you buy the VIP ticket, they don't send the t-shirt outside the Europe. If I rightly understood, VIP ticket should also have a chat session with the new bass player, who will be announced just before the show.

This from her studio as recognise her microphone, guess not able to travel yet.
Also worth noting is that the reason she did this performance remotely is because she just had gall bladder surgery with pancreatitis a couple weeks ago and is not yet cleared by her doctors to fly. Does this sound like a woman who just had major abdominal surgery? She is superhuman.
