When you said “I have a lot of whips,” something else came to mind, lol. I learned some yarn terminology today! Your cabinets are organized nicely and the yarn looks pretty inside with all the colors. I hope you have fun with your projects.

Hi Sherry! 😂 I can see how the terminology sounds like sounds like something else! 🤣 I’m so happy with these cabinets - they were such a find on FB marketplace. Thank you - I’m sure I will. I just need to see what I will make with this yarn. That is half the fun. Thank you for visiting! 💕

I used to knit so much but I just don't seem to have the time these days, I have so many other things that take up my time. I have so projects started but unfinished in my wool sash I really need to sort some stuff out! I hope you have a amazing week xxxx

Hi Angela! What did you enjoy knitting? My knitting and crocheting goes up and down throughout the years too depending on how much time I have. This quarantining has definitely provided me with more time to craft and I am enjoying it so much! Thank you so much for visiting! 🙏🏽💕

@@makeupfunwitholivia1833 I used to knit a lot of jumpers and I handknitted all my childrens clothes (many years ago) I was on bedrest with my pregnancies (very long story) so had a lot of time then to craft I embroidered a lot of the outfits too and did a lot of cross stitch - now I just don't have the time. :(

@@angelastuartbeauty Oh they must have been adorable jumpers! Your kiddos were so lucky to have such a talented mama. Sorry it was bed rest that allowed you to have time though. :(

Girllll that Crystal Palace is a gem! That company is gone now and their yarn is very hard to find. I was sooo happy to see some LYS yarns! There is a time and place for acrylic but nothing beats a good LYS yarn for knitting - thanks for sharing ❤️ from Canada 🇨🇦:)

Oh wow I didn’t know Crystal Palace was now gone! I remember loving the colors so much and when I caked it up it is gorgeous. I’ll have to see what special way I can use it. Yay! I’m glad you enjoyed the LYS yarns! I loooove LYS’s. It’s been a few years since I’ve been to one but I’m feeling the urge again. 😂 Thank you so much for visiting! 🙏🏽💕

All the needles. Wow the gingerbread house is adorable. Oh I remember when Stephen West was all the rage. I had his book at one time...can't find it. It was all his shawls. oh finish the blanket with the hexs. Have fun frogging

😂 Now I know where all my needles were! 🤣 Thank you! I need to finish that gingerbread house this year!! You’re right Stephen West’s did have a book! His shawls were all so lovely and unique. I may have to have a go at that Moorish Afghan again (the hexagons). How is your Daphne Afghan going? Did you finish it? Thank you so much for visiting! 💜

Ahhh PLEASE finish that gingerbread house and show us! Those cute trees would look nice stitched into a holiday blanket. Also I laughed out loud when you held up the “underwear”. My first thought was “she was making yarn underwear?” 😂

I forgot to add that you should totally finish that last gorgeous circle blanket!

Finishing that gingerbread house is one of my crochet goals this year Jackie! I probably need to begin finishing it in the summer because once the holidays begin I get lost in them (Halloween is my fave! LOL. I know you love it too.) And LMAO about the underwear! I wish you could have seen his face! LOL He was trying to be supportive and hide his incredulousness, hahaha! xoxo

Hi Olivia!! You'll get 'em all done, I'm sure. Doesn't it feel good to be organized and have all your yarns right there when you need them? Are we all sort of moving makeup to the back burner? I have been, too. But, I still love it! btw, I love that dove colored yarn~

Hi Donna! Yes I suppose we have put makeup on the back burner. 🙃 Probably because we don’t go out as much. I still love it too. I am just really enjoying playing with all my yarn too. ☺️ Hugs! Xoxo

Hi, Olivia! I'm new to your channel - nice to meet you! "I'm a sucker for a multicolor, and I'm a sucker for sparkle." We must be twins! I'm the same way! lol At the beginning of this year I did the same thing - went through WIPs and frogged some and am finishing some. I didn't keep count - how many are you going to frog, and how many do you plan to finish? Can't wait to see them! 🤗💖

    • @makeupfunwitholivia1833

Hi Judy! That’s does sound like we are fiber twins! 👯‍♀️ I ended up frogging everything except the gingerbread house (which I hope to finish for this Christmas) and the hexagon blanket (which realistically I hope to finish next year). Caking the frogged yarn was so satisfying because I have more yummy yarn to choose from. I may give a couple of those shawls a go again even though I frogged them because they really are lovely. We shall see. How about you? How many did you frog/keep? I’m just noticing you have a channel too - did you film it? I will have to come visit. Thank you for subbing and commenting! 💕

@@makeupfunwitholivia1833 yes, I did a video where I talked about the WIPs I frogged, but didn't show them all. I have shown some of the WIPs I decided to finish in videos, and will be showing more progress on them. It's so nice to get them all taken care of! 🤗💖

How exciting! It's like a shopping trip where you find everything you love! With a bonus of more space.
I think I missed it. What is a frog? Im assuming repurposing.
I love the idea of the blanket using old whips. I have a pile of my children's baby blankets that I want to put together into individual blankets for my children.
This was so much fun to watch.

Omygosh yes that’s exactly what it felt like Rachael! Frogging is when you unravel a knitted or crochet project. It comes from “rip it, rip it” and so it’s called frogging. 😂 Ooh I have some baby blankets too that I’ve been wanting to sew together for my kiddos. So many projects and not enough hours in the day, right?! I’m glad you enjoyed. Thank you so much for visiting! 💕💕
