Good review. Wurkkos and Sofirn make some great headlamps. They have excellent UI’s. Single click on and off. I hate how most other brands do a click and hold for a few seconds for on and off.

I just got this yesterday, in Orange, before i was using a sofrin hs41, but i used the wurrkos hd20 this morning and it worked better for what im doing (metal detecting) because i only want the flood channel open, dont need or want throw, although if i did want throw the sofrin hs41 is better, id use the sofrin if my use case was walking forest trails in the dark, but im not, im metal detecting in open parks, and i dont want too much light shining a hot spot on my go pro, washes the video out
Kudos to wurkkos for sending you this light to review. I think I'll start looking at them in the future now. This one does look like it has some good throw to it. I'm surprised that it's an HD and not an HI too.
I'm like you I wear a hat when I'm working and prefer to clip a light onto it. And for me that's a d4v2. If I ever have to go high up on a cat walk or a lift and people are under me I take it off though. That's when I get out my milwaukee headlamp.

Damn thats nice, be an improvement over my shattered glass thrunite th10 v2, definet3 need a beastly headlam to replace it because its a beast in its own right, i jog with them too so the lightest among the heavies is a conscern i guess, i like jogging with am 18650 style light for sheer power and runtimes

yeah i have the trustfire MC18 and its nice for what i paid for it lol i only paid 20 dollars and it came with a 3000mAh battery and its 1200 lumens and its actuly really nice for 20 dollars but yeah and its compact for a 18650 headlamp lol and the trow is really good for the headlamp so im happy with it lol but this light is nice as well and it has the battery indacotor just like this one and its a simple UI as well lol well god bless brother and keep on keepin on

Just received a HD20 direct from Wurkkos. It shipped with an 18650 even though I specifically paid extra for a 21700. I tried one of my 21700’s and the light didn't work. Buyer beware!!!

Not many test this but would this work on pure usb power like one I have ? Have you tested this let us know some don’t mention on their manuals 😃
I would love to help you out with a test not really understanding on the USB test please explain a little more
@@smotheredchrome the wurkkos hd15/20 has the ability to be use as power bank throw that type c port on the light , my question if you can test the actual max output of voltage /amps I doubt is type c pd output but more a normal 5v output but not many know or test this feature
