    💎 As I looked ahead to 2024, I realized this project was going to be big, and that meant I needed to get started. Not only is it one of the largest diamond paintings I've done, it has the most colors. There are 300 of them, but it turns out I won't need them all. There are also some other issues that I will need to address for this project. Watch the video and find out what's going on!!💎

    25 colours short of 300. It seems like a small problem to me. My bigger concern would be how to kit it all up. I would probably start with letters and numbers and then maybe colours. It will be interesting to follow your project from start to finish. Maybe you should decide on the particular days that you will work on it and what size area, just so you don’t burn out. In between do small projects that able to be completed so you’re kind of cheating your brain into being able to complete the bigger task. Anyway, I hope that you have a lovely Christmas and that 2024 won’t be too stressful. Life turns out the way it’s meant to.

I'm sure lots of your subscribers would love to hang out with you while you diamond paint. ❤❤ I've just started a cute gingerbread house with little gingerbread men, and I'm going to kit up my first square diamond painting. I hope I'll like the square. 😊❤

    Hello Daphne, I have 2 of Josephine Wall kits, 3 Graces and Fairy Wedding, and it's alot of colors, my Fairy Wedding is 300 and 3 graces is 197 I think. But I just love Deutschland kits even though they make mistakes with the drills and bubbles on their kits but it is my favorite company to buy big kits with lots of colors. I'll be following your progress, and I'll send you mine. Have a great Sunday and take care⚘️⚘️⚘️⚘️

    Hi Daphne, Just a quick thought. Now that you need less colours, you will also need more drills in those particular colours. So maybe you might need to be sure that you have spares in your stash for the colours most needed. I hope this makes sense. Love your videos, all the best from Australia. ⁉🙂

  • @amandakuzdas4939
    @amandakuzdas4939 7 месяцев назад

    I don’t know that I would have had the patience to count colors upon receipt. I probably would only have caught it during kit up. Crossing my fingers that you still have everything you need and that there aren’t additional screwups with the drills. Hopefully with it being a max color kit any color that may be missing will be one with minimal quantity that you can substitute from current stash and not need to order separately.

    • @DiamondPaintingAnonymous
      @DiamondPaintingAnonymous  7 месяцев назад

      I think, if anything, I will have more colors than I need. Hubby brought up that I might be short drill quantities in some colors, so I may need to hit up my spares in that case. Thanks for watching!!

  • @dlebreton7888
    @dlebreton7888 7 месяцев назад

    I keep all the drills I have left over when I finish a kit. The problem of missing drills would not be a problem, eventhough saving the excess gives me more work at the end. But that is ok. If I finally decide to get rid of my excess stash, I would sprinkle them in my garden flower beds. Maybe. Lol.

    I have Earth Angel and Magical Merry Go Round by JW and I am terrified to start either of them. They are both HUGE. I got one from DPD and the other from The One With The Diamond Art. I’m semi new to diamond painting so I’m trying to get more experience before I start on them. In the meantime I’ve amassed a HUGE collection of diamond paintings. My stash is almost to 100 kits. Sigh. Hey, it’s better than being addicted to drugs 🤔🤭

      Hi, Texasgrrl77, I have Earth Angel, too, and it was my very first Diamond Paiting. I haven't finished it yet, I'm about half way through, because I also like to draw and paint. I'm only diamond-painting when I'm listening to an audio book.
      Just today I heard someone say on RUclips it took her 133 hours to complete Earth Angel. That shocked me, but only for a short time. I have really enjoyed the first half and it looks so amazing! I really want to see it through!
      Don't be afraid! You are learning while you are doing it. Don't worry about the number of colours: You'll memorize quickly where which is.
      And it is so rewarding to see the painting come to life!
      One piece of advice: Work in small sections, each section as big as you can manage in one sitting. It's nice to have a feeling of finishing something. And it is important to keep the glue covered until you really work on that part, otherwise all sorts of hair and lint will stick to it.
      In addition to that, since the painting is very confetti heavy, a smaller section is easier for the eyes.
      Texasgrrl, go get the Angel out and start today! 😁

    I've done 90 colors and felt some were so similar it didn't seem to make sense and others only included 10 or 20 drills in a 100x120 image. I wonder if that many colors may be more of a fun thing to challenge yourself and less of a true necessity to optimize the image.
