    I understand what Dr Ally has to say, but refusing a hadith needs more than 9 minutes. Some of us are so dumb and blinded that they still would not understand what the main issue is.
    And this is why ummah is in this situation of mass chaos on the first place. If we spoke to each other with understanding, open mind, patience and staying within the context, ummah wouldn't be having troubles.
    If anyone bothered to read the description of this video it clearly says '' keeping the balanced approach to hadith that we don't contradict Quran'' but it's just about IQ. These people will refuse to listen to Dr Shabir because he is holding Quran first and then hadtih. These people are so dumb wallah!

"So remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder. You are not over them a controller. However, he who turns away and disbelieves - Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment. Every knowledgeable muslim knows that surah 9 is about war times. 9:5 is about those who broke treaty and launched an armed rebel against the state, and is not about general circumstances, a fact which is evident once one reads 9:5 with 9:6. 9: 29 is not about forcing someone to change his religion, rather it is about the role of people of the book who live in muslim land, that they should acceptthe authority of muslim state, which must be manifested in the form of them paying taxes willingly to the Government. And if they dont pay tax, it would be taken as that they still have affiliation with the enemy empire (Byzantine Empire) and they will be fought as was the norm of the time.
      The most important thing is, both of those verses are about specific war time circumstances and should not be taken as general commandments.

    What concerns me is that the lack of views on this channel 😢 shows how many Muslims blindly follow

  • @a-7427
    @a-7427 3 года назад +7

    The Follower of Islam tend to stick with something unQuranic because they relied the Scholar and the Leader of Islam too much and follow anything by their Leader blindly without Questioning them. Why? Because the follower especially the villager thinks imam, sheikh, ulama, ustaz, etc as pious person that made not a mistakes. The Follower even gone too far as even said the religious person is not touched by sin.. And even worse some sincere believer fall to the abyss of idolatry because of heart that long for goodness but adoring the God's creation and even asking their leader to pray for them while they may pray themselves, God is All Hearing and far from Deaf. God's know what was hidden inside their chest.
    I myself once thinks Quran is not complete and need a Hadith to explain the detail while the Quran denied this fact since the Quran claim the Book itself is Perfect as a sole guidance and reasoning for those who use their thinking..
    Just to name few unspeakable act from Muslim's religious scholar that made the Hadith as priority while Quran is number 2.. They even as far to say whoever disbelieve Hadith is Kafir while the Quran claims those who reject the Quran is Kafir which contradicts the religious leaders saying.
    Even worsening they even say the average person has no right to talks about religion which is contradicts the Quran that encourage every reader to use AQL (thinking, reasons). The reason mainly because the average person don't understand Arabic and may in the wrong path by relying on translation which once again contradicts their action by making the Hadith as priority and source inside of Islam.
    Another error they made is to reject any quotation Made by honest person that has learned the truth, and even go far to misinterpret the meaning of Quran by relying Hadith that has no place in Quran to be mentioned but Invention according to Quran. They even went above to say whoever sharing surah from the Quran is not on the right path but the Hadith follower is on the right path. Again, the only Hadith that Allah approved is the Quran itself, not another source as a sole guidance.
    On Jumaat Solat, the imam always warn the audience not to believe a person that follow the Quran, they said this is a new religion. It is shocking to heard this myself. Why the person who rely on Quran is guilty and at fault? Doesn't the Quran encourage every reader to think and learn and study the Quran and reason with the content inside of Quran? After that, wasn't the Quran said the reader may choose to believe or reject the Quran and at the same time offer a blissful reward for the believers while the rejector will be punished on fire?
    Strangely why almost all of our religious scholar teach the follower like that?
    Isn't not they claim themselves as a Muslim and even Did testify that they Believe in Quran and not the Hadith?
    If we are following One God, surely we just only need the Quran as a guidance.
    And you have the right to choose and decide which one is the True Path if you are being HONEST to Yourself!

    *v.22 : The noun hūr - rendered by me as “companions pure” - is a plural of both ahwar (masc.) and hawrā’ (fem.), either of which describes “a person distinguished by hawar,” which latter term primarily denotes “intense whiteness of the eyeballs and lustrous black of the iris” (Qāmūs). In a more general sense, hawar signifies simply “whiteness” (Asās) or, as a moral qualification, “purity” (cf. Tabarī, Rāzī, and Ibn Kathīr in their explanations of the term hawāriyyūn in **3:52**). Hence, the compound expression hūr ‘īn signifies, approximately, “pure beings [or, more specifically, “companions pure”], most beautiful of eye” (which latter is the meaning of ‘īn, the plural of a‘yan). In his comments on the identical expression in **52:20**, Rāzī observes that inasmuch as a person’s eye reflects his soul more clearly than any other part of the human body, ‘īn may be understood as “rich of soul” or “soulful.” Mohamed Asad*

    In order to understand the life of Prophet Muhammad and some of the apparent 'violence' that took place during his prophetic mission, it is important to understand few crucial aspects about the narrative of the Quran. It is as if the Quran is doing commentary on the life of Prophet Muhammad. It is being highlighted in some recent works on Quran that with regards to its subject-matter, Quran is the narrative of a messenger's warning (indhar in Arabic) to his people. Seen in this light Quran would be the best biography of Prophet Muhammad. Obviously, it takes deep insight to see how this is the case.
    The crucial point to realize in this regard is the difference between a Prophet (nabi) and a Messenger (rasul). Messengers are special prophets who carry out a divine mission on Earth. Let us try to understand that mission and the history of all the Prophets and Messengers sent by God. We will then see the pattern emerging and would help us understand the wisdom behind God's plan with humanity. As the Quran claims the unity of God and unity of man, initially mankind had one religion: belief in one God and humanity to man. But then as history progressed, human beings deviated from this basic and simple religion (which we can call basic Islam) by adding to it alien doctrines and practices. In order to guide them back to the correct religion, God decided to send prophets and books to different nations. The prophets would remind them of their duty towards God (they didn't bring any new information with regards to this doctrine, it is already innate in all human beings) and responsibility towards his creation. They would also warn them of the day of judgment when God will judge based on our deeds. But even after hearing the rational evidence and seeing God's signs in his creation, people of the prophet's nation would deny him knowingly. In order to establish demonstrable proof of His message, God then decided to appoint certain of these prophets as messengers. According to Quran Noah (Nuh) would be the first such messenger on Earth. A messenger starts his mission as a prophet, calling people to rectify their deviation. They would give rational evidence and proof to his people in order for them to think and self-reflect. But then during this prophetic phase of the messenger's mission will come a time when God decides that no more evidence would be presented as those people will not mend their ways and his judgment would now take place on Earth. For this, the messenger and those who responded to his call are divinely instructed to separate from the rejecters. Noah's ark was this separation, it separated the believers from the disbelievers. God then sends the forces of nature to establish his judgment for the nation of the messenger on this very Earth, believers are saved/victorious and rejecters punished, just like what will take place in the day of judgment. The objective is to establish historical witness of the day of judgment, in Quranic terminology this is called 'shahadah' (witness). In short, we can summarize the difference between a prophet and a messenger, a messenger's call culminates to a witness. This is the reason we say 'I bear witness Muhammad is Allah's Messenger' and not merely Allah's prophet. This is what is referred to in the Quran as the 'sunnatAllah', the divine practice of God through his messengers. The story of Saalih, Lut (Lot), Musa (Moses), Ibraheem (Abraham), Isa (Jesus) all have this feature in common since all of them came as God's messengers. Space doesn't permit, but it would be instructive to see how God's judgment took place at various degrees for all of these personalities and their respective nations.
    Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was also a messenger and his 23 years of preaching mission was no different. As a messenger he established God's judgment on his people, the children of Ishmael (Arabs) and the people of the book of Arabia (Jews & Christian). The difference between his mission and that of Nuh is that since he was able to get substantial followers (through divine help), God used the 'hand of man' instead of the 'power of nature' to punish the rejecters. The military mission of Prophet Muhammad needs to be seen in this light primarily. Sometimes we get lost in the details of the story and don't see the big picture. After 10 years of various military and political campaign (again through divine instruction), the final judgment was announced after the conquest of Makkah in surah Taubah (chapter 9 of Quran). Those non-Muslims who quote the 'jihad' verses of surah Taubah fail to realize the background of its revelation, unfortunately many of the extremist groups would do the same and think that the verses are instructing us to wage war against today's non-Muslims. Another profound misunderstanding of the modern-day Islamists (like Jamat Islami, Ikhwan al-Muslimin, Hizbut Tahrir etc) is to see the prophetic mission of Prophet Muhammad as primarily a political and social revolution.
    The judgment that took place in 7th century Arabia through Prophet Muhammad has taken place in the known history of mankind, so too the judgment through Jesus and Moses. The three Abrahamic faiths (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) are a historical reality and it is through them that God communicated his message to the other nation of the world in this historical period. The stories of the messengers sent to different nations of the globe before Abraham are all part of pre-history, mankind has not been able to preserve those incidents when God directly intervened in human history. It is altogether a different matter how the followers (not the immediate followers of the messengers - the first generation) of all the three branches of Abraham have deviated or fallen short of holding fast to the true teachings of God's religion.
    All the battles fought by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his followers had two dimensions: firstly it was a means to eradicate oppression and persecution and secondly to establish a miniature Day of Judgment on this very earth by establishing God's judgment. The believers are given victory and authority over the land and the rejectors are given punishments according to their crimes: death penalty for the polytheists of Arabia and jizya for the people of the book. No doubt the latter dimension can only be specific to the age of the messenger, the former is the universal shariah applicable for Muslims for all time and place. The hadith 'whoever changes his religion kill him' has to be understood in this context. It is not an independent directive of shariah. As is often the case with hadith, the background and context is not always apparent, as the narrators sometime omit them. The hadith is talking about death punishment of the people of Arabia (the nation of the Prophet) at that time. Whoever rejects faith after accepting Islam, must face God’s judgment as the truth has been conclusively communicated to the nation of the messenger. The hadith "I have been commanded to fight the people (the people of Arabia at the time of the Prophet) until they testify 'la ilaha illallah.' "also needs to be understood in this context. It is a divine law regarding the messengers. The incident of banu-quraidha, the war of apostasy waged by Abu Bakr during his caliphate and the execution of certain disbelievers outside of the battlefield also make sense once we see them in this light. The military campaigns of the companions of Prophet Muhammad after his demise towards the empires surrounding Arabia were also an extension of this divine judgment. It might seem strange at first to see their military campaign in this light, but once we start to appreciate this perspective we will gradually realize God's wisdom on how he has interacted in human history. How he has tried to lit up the light of his universal guidance time and again, if only people would take heed. Our respected scholars have incorrectly tried to derive rulings of shariah from all of these incidents and narrations, whereas they are specific for the age of the messenger and his people. These conclusions are based on a critical analysis and appreciation of the language and coherence of the Qur'anic discourse, without any need to read 'liberalism' between its lines. An extensive amount of foundational work has been done on Qur'anic hermeneutics by the scholars of the Farahi school (Indo-Pak) in this regard for the last 100 years. Please refer to the following,

He then went away and said: Peace be upon you! They (the angels) said: May there be peace upon you and the Mercy of Allah, and they made an addition of" Mercy of Allah". So he who would get into Paradise would get in the form of Adam, his length being sixty cubits, then the people who followed him continued to diminish in size up to this day.

      here is full description of this according to salafi website
      Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said: “The word soorah (image) in this hadeeth is like all the other names and attributes narrated (in the texts) where the words used may also be applied to created beings, in a limited manner. When these words are applied to Allaah, they carry a unique meaning, such as al-‘Aleem (All Knowing), al-Qadeer (All-Powerful), al-Raheem (Most Merciful), al-Samee’ (All Hearing), al-Baseer (All-Seeing), and such as His creating with His hands, rising above the Throne, etc.” Naqd al-Ta’sees, 3/396
      islamqa.info/en/20652
      www.clearquran.com/009.html
      9:107. Then there are those who establish a mosque to cause harm, and disbelief, and disunity among the believers, and as an outpost for those who fight God and His Messenger. They will swear: “Our intentions are nothing but good.” But God bears witness that they are liars.
      6:19. Say, “What thing is more solemn in testimony?” Say, “God is Witness between you and me. This Quran was revealed to me, that I may warn you with it, and whomever it may reach. Do you indeed testify that there are other gods with God?” Say, “I myself do not testify.” Say, “He is but One God, and I am innocent of your idolatry.”

    Surah Fussilat (Quran. 41.44)
    Had We revealed it as a non-Arabic Quran, THEY would have certainly argued, "If only its verses were made clear 'in our language'. What! A non - Arabic revelation for an Arab audience!" Say, 'O Prophet,' "It is a guide and a healing to the believers. As for those who DISBELIEVE, there is deafness in their ears and blindness to it 'in their hearts'. It is not presumed context Shabir when the prophet said he was sent to fight the people the people referred to the Arab polytheists this is not even a question debated amongst scholars it is seriously concerning that you don’t know this- many other Hadiths and the seerah show that indeed the prophet had to fight until the Arab polytheists either converted or they were forced to leave Arabia!!! Abu bakr himself fought them when they refused to pay the zakat.

    I so regularly hear that the Quran is perfect...flawless text from the prophet as dictated by the angel Gabriel(not God btw)... And all I hear from this gentleman is the claim that sections of the Quran are wrong... I believe that if Islam was the last revelation of God to man then such discrepancies wouldn't exist.
    Read the New Testament, there's no violence, no executions, no polygamy... Just sincere peace... that book was wrote 700 years before Mohamnad aswell....

      The same could be said about Christians, there is much they need to consider! The Old Testament is an integral part of the Christian faith and there is so much more violence then you will find in the Quran! In any case during the crusades some of the most horrible violence was committed against the Muslims and Jews, and justified on the basis of the Christian faith (the New and the Old Testament). More recently, in the last century, two of the bloodiest wars in history were initiated and fought in large part by people who considered themselves to be Christians! Hardly a resounding endorsement of Christianity as a religion of "sincere peace!"

      EmeraldDiamond3 He did not throw away the sunna dear brother. He is being very specific. Some hadith go directly against the Holy Quran. It doesn't matter if the hadith is authentic or not. Hadith is man's work. The Quran is God's word. Which one should you choose?

    • @EmeraldDiamond3
      @EmeraldDiamond3 7 лет назад +1

      Salar Abbas Salar Abbas You do realize the Quran is also from muttawatir Hadith. Unless you think the Prophet (saw) hand wrote it and copied it for everyone. Which he didn't. Shabir ally has done the same thing with other authentic ahadith. Which is a huge favor to Islam haters as they can now question just about anything they want. Not to mention Uthman (ra) did burn some Qurans from other cultures to insure only the original text was being distributed. A fact even shabir ally agrees with. Well with that said who's to say Uthman(ra) didn't rewrite some himself ? We would never know unless you trust in the reports of thousands of companions of the prophet. Which we do. Shabir throws that away when he rejects authentic Sunnah. Essentially calling into question every Hadith. And the Quran itself.

    • @Broeske3
      @Broeske3 7 лет назад +3

      EmeraldDiamond3 Dear brother. It is true that the Holy Quran also was passed on threw the same tradition. But there is no muttwatir hadith like the Quran. Name me 1 hadith that is the same muttwatir level as the Quran. There is none. And we muslims see the Quran as the infallible Word of God. Other hadith is man's work. The point is very simple. There are hadiths which clearly contradicts the Quran. What will you choose as most authentic?

    • @matthewpettipas8233
      @matthewpettipas8233 7 лет назад +1

      The Quran says nothing about the Sunnah, the Prophet's only job was to recite it, nothing more, nothing left. The way of the Prophet was the Quran, the Hadith are man made.

      You do realise if you don't throw away this hadith then you are throwing away rest of many hadiths which says do not kill people who have different belief than you? I hope you are okay with ditching all those hadiths because you want to hold on to this one? Why don't you take a flexible approach and understand the context rather than have an extreme approach!!!
