- Do you need to find and download an installer file for an older version of Mac OS X? Apple hides these installers and you can't find them easily on the Mac App store. Here is a way to get free downloads of the old installer directly from Apple. In this vide, we show you how to find the following Mac OS X Operating System Installers:
- Yosemite
- El Capitan
- Sierra
- High Sierra
- Mojave
- Catalina

Thank you but it never went to the licensing agreement but went through everything else and it still didn’t upload the Yosemite 😞 I can’t seem to get out of this time warp and stuck in Maverick 10.9.5

I am trying to download either High Sierra or Mojave but when I follow your instructions, at the App Store I get "open", not "download" for either option. and any downloads are UPDATES not full installer, specifying I need an older version of these same software to use. So how can I update if I have Sierra on my computer? Help.

Yo my stuff is stuck on el capitan and it was on sierra before and now i cant get it back pls help
Here's the thing mines doesn't open in app store it just automatically downloads. Then When I try getting El captain and waited half and hour it didn't even work this truly upsetting :(

Trying to get an old version for my external drive. These will not install unless you have a previous OS version already loaded. Even tried to clone my existing HD to external but apparently original HD is formatted differently. Out of luck so trying to get a full version elsewhere. Not sure why Apple would care about releasing older obsolete full versions. I'm just trying to get an old version to run an older program.
How can I do it through my phone
I got the the support page but nothing happened when I tried to go from High Sierra to Mojave. Any ideas?
Did it download anything, or did the link not work? If it didn't download, you can try another browser like Firefox or Google Chrome to see if it work better.
This was helpful, but when I clicked on Sierra 10.12. Nothing popped up to download it 😔
You could try going through the same steps but use a different web broswer. You can try installing Firefox or Google Chrome and see if it works better than Safari if that's what you're using now.
Need help, I have problem signing into App Store, every time incorrect ID& password. And I put in correctly. No problem sign in apple account. This is macbook. I try to upgrade fro Yosemite to El capitan only. Using the support site also cannot. Download few file still nothing happen. Can you pls help. Tq
