CrossFit “we won’t be having the games in 2025 or maybe longer so we can work on what needs changing” How do you think the athletes would like that possibility since they are the ones asking for the “changes”
People die in training.. I knew a neighbor that ran every morning on my way to school one day ambulances in the neighborhood and it was him having a heart attack. Keep the competition going lazar died and he was a great person but the athletes need to finish their job
It comes down to structure and volunteers. Majority of the team at the games are volunteers. And just so it’s clear, that rate of volunteering continues to decrease due people have fears they will end up on this or other RUclips channels for screwing up. You and the team are 100% negatively affecting the volunteer pool. So instead of having a pool of the best, it’s a pool of what is available and they do the best with what they got. Sadly, breaking off the masters and teens quadrupled the need for volunteers in different locations on the same weekend.
Actually I'm pretty sure rhe games has an overabundance of volunteers.... cause they do, the only reason I don't get added to that list is the cost to travel from Europe....
Now I'm not sure how many volunteers for the teens/masters.... another conversation The real problem is the only way to be selected at the games is who you know, not what you have done/what are your qualifications....
You should have pushed back more on the whole “safety” thing especially given the issues at WZA (slick bars and floor) and NorCal. She wasn’t transparent at all with that. Fully agree with the community aspect though she brought up
Do you think a lot of the athletes like Aerial Lowen are now back tracking on what they said due to realising that the games results have a big influence on the other events like Rouge because an invite is loads better than having to do the Q? Also referencing the investigation I think Don will fall on his sword but get a nice payday from the board Dave will stay but have to play nice but I think he will retire after a year or two.
If they get rid of in person Semi's it'll be a massive disservice to Australia and the other Countries outside of US. For so many of the Semi's are our CF Games experience. We cant afford to travel to the US every year.

If your introduction to The Mountain was true (which we, as viewers, have to assume is the case), my comment was certainly not "stupid." On the other hand, if your subsequent assertion that it's actually "a relative scale" is the truth, then your statements stand in direct opposition with each other. Critically, in neither case was my comment "stupid," as it followed your introduction and preceded your contradictory reversal. Personally, I think you're good for the space. Yes, you're loud, and often obnoxious, but you also make good points and bring value to the speculative arena. Having said that, it would benefit you greatly to add precision to your bravado, and humility when you fail to do so. If you don't, the hate that already comes your way is only going to build, and deservedly so. Whichever path you choose, best of luck...
I think all the results from the 2024 Games should be taken with a grain of salt. There were so many things that made it a fucking shit show it was really just who handled the chaos the best.
I agree Chris is gonna win crucible but the Adler disrespect is crazy! He doesn’t compete at the games so he falls from fittest to the tier of James sprague? Rogue will speak for itself
