Change colors in a decrease stitch

When you change colors in the middle of a stitch, you need to introduce the new color in the last yarn over of the stitch. Watch this video for an example of how to handle this in a decrease stitch.

Same... also i am confused if the stitch should be before the round or finish the decrease with grey then do the next decrease in white...

What happens when the dec is to be done over 2 stitches of different colours (say 1 white and 1 orangel) and you had already changed from white to orange 1 stitch before this dec.
