This was my first session playing day side as an EK, and was a public run. Unlike my giant that I want to be playing night side on (face tank everything while not having to worry about chill stacks), I decided to try day side on my human because I figured I’d need to be dodging attacks regardless of whether I got chill stacks or not. I only got high chill stacks during the Time Shift burst, where I swear only my pinky toe was in the red circle 😂 but I trusted my saints to heal me and made sure to continue DPSing while avoiding direct hits. I was prepared to use Vital Surge at the exact moment because the saints might have had to dodge the swipe immediately before, and the 30% phase was coming up, meaning there was a high chance that I wouldn’t be able to receive heals. Last 20% was a bit rough as the party wasn’t always on top of the boss, but that’s fine because letting players figure out what works (and doesn’t) is a big reason I like to do public runs :) Personally, I learned I can pull off day side EK with basically the same DPS and debuff uptime.
very nice, you definitely got scammed by that red circle you werent even in it also the hitcheck part was funny i like how you opened party just to make sure afterwards too
