are you using support shot on offhand because if it was its own gear set the switching would be too slow? is that solved through ping? also wouldnt fighter combo be better than smash bash

TLDR: Support Shot comes with trade offs that ultimately put human EKs at a disadvantage to giants, even in 1v1 situations. While my human and giant have a few different race-independent gear pieces, they add up to around a 90 max difference in favor of my giant (even though my human has Creepy Haunted accs :D), conveniently providing a fair comparison to an endgame human and giant EK. For less minmaxed gear setups, the gap will be larger because humans have to drop either the Smash or Hyperion set effect. So before considering any set effect or skill multiplier difference, giants roughly get 4~5% more raw Max Damage. As I equipped the Bohemian Hat for the Support Shot enhancement (I'm using an offhand bow), I had to drop the Hyperion Hat with Critical Damage enhancement that was on my Giant. This basically shows that humans are at a 2 gear piece disadvantage compared to giants that can equip a shield and Hyperion hat or one-piece Skirmisher. The 55% vs 87% combo card is also in favor of the giant, but until the future debuff duration update arrives, it’s not a significant advantage in solo content because the combo card resets every time I debuff (failing at 4 makes it worse, failing at 5 makes it the same as the gold combo card). 4 Smashes happens to be the exact number of I’m able to do in between each Dynavolt in ideal situations so it’s easier to complete. Might of Ladeca is far more noticeable and along with the higher Smash multiplier and max damage, giants make up for the lack of Support Shot (which caps at 21.85% but is at 17.25% for most of this clear because of no Stormborne title and glyph). As for single target EK DPS, I think many players, including myself, thought humans would be better because of how Support Shot directly affects the arcana skills. However, on average, my human clear times are 30 seconds slower, even though my Giant can take 10 seconds longer to clear the zombie phase because it doesn’t have a Ruin staff. This clear is very difficult to reproduce because on top of having to play to the best of my ability, it was an incredibly lucky clear (fast zombie phase, a ton of Dynavolts crits, lack of incoming crits), but still only just matches my previous Giant clear which is easier to replicate. I had to restart many times because I was critted for 6k damage when Mana Shield was off, and just died from the next attack without being able to react, which would not happen as a Giant. In fact, I was one tick away from dying in this clear so this could have easily been a failed attempt :). This forces me to play cautiously and flawlessly. This would be fine if I could see higher damage numbers with Support Shot, but I was barely matching my giant's Dynavolt Smashes. The 3% from the Support Shot Glyph would probably make the difference noticeable. However, this level of minmax really only comes into play in endgame content, and after the Fahmes revamp, Theta is the only “solo” content (which is a stretch because it’s party content) where this difference matters. I expect a similar DPS advantage for giants in Glenn (again, party content that lets Giants take advantage of Support Shots) because there are a lot of incoming attacks that giants can face tank and greed instead for damage, like in Theta. So I’ve come to the conclusion that while using Support Shot is important because it is a huge increase in damage, it introduces a lot of problems. It affects the title and gear setup, and DPS uptime because it needs to be used every 9 seconds. Even though I’m using an offhand bow, I'm rooted in the spot for a split second longer, and I notice I start my DPS rotation slightly behind my giant, which feels clunky. Time Shift also becomes more awkward because Support Shot falls off before you’re able to get every Dynavolt off. To exaggerate a bit, putting the bow in an extra equip slot feels like an enforced 1000 ms ping spike every 10 seconds, which to me is near unplayable. This is time that can be otherwise used getting an additional Smash in. I feel the duration needs to be increased from 7 to around 30 seconds in the future. That being said, Giants deserve to be the best at Close Combat. As I'm encouraged to play in a different way on my human, I’d like to invest more into my fighter gear and see how it compares to the constant Smash and Bash spam, but that will be for another time.

How do you manage to swap Extra Equip so smoothly, using the skills immediately between Knuckles, Chain and back to bow? I have 2 extra slots and tried to mix Music + Alchemy (Hydra) + My Staff and it got messy lol, I cant consistently apply red circle + Death Mark + Hydra and keep DPSing. Also, do you have all your "stun" pets, the one in the bars in the top keybinded? I dont have that many pets but I have a few and Ive been using Num. Pad keys for summon, but having to manually desummon with another key takes me a bit of time and often get attacked in between, any tips for the pet spam?

Is AS the most efficient Arcana to duo Glenn HM? Or can DD be a decent contender for clear8ng this fast?

if you are playing mobi right now please stay safe from hackers in game. they are taking accounts and placing people on systems. i am sabersaff, bluedeer, gizmorampage, rezzca, major cartor, saborba and benatrix on the game. and have ended up getting hacked or somehow someone got on my account with out my premission or information. as of right now i am having trouble getting into my account do to someone who has hacked me. please be careful and be safe on the game. also if you see weird behavor with supports of any game just be careful and make sure they are asking of you what their suppose to be asking for I have to put this out there because of a weird situation that took placr with an email. I am not saying this is the stafs fault but when I gave my email to them I got hacked on my email that same day and they tried to take my nexon away and lock me out of it. stay safe. Oh and if your on the game or any game beware of nasties. People who engage in sexual behavior. They are also telling a guy to ruin the comments I make on the subject. I have a feeling they took my account away into another country but I'm not sure I have made a complaint to mobi because of this situation as I had payed for things only for it to be taken away i have screen shots of the account lost and all its characters. In the event something happens. If you are the person who took that account away and tried giving it to another person I rebuke you. That is not your account to take away.

Like with most of my Theta videos, my intention with this one was to limit test 1v1 bossing dps (as an EK), so I did use a mage set for Meteoring the zombies. The Arcana specific gear restrictions I put in place were *roughly* handicapped in a way I felt fair, to my previous Druid staff clear. For example, the expensive Special Hyperion Armor was used in place of the Special Elemental Harmony Suit, while the Imperial Knight Gloves with 3 piece Smash set are pretty easy to obtain (as a Giant). The Hyperion set effect wasn't even up for most of the fight, so there would have been minimal difference if the cheaper Special Imperial Knight was equipped as well. Anyways, my play got sloppy towards the end because it's been a while since I've been in a longer run, but as always I forgot to use Might of Ladeca (...) which would have reduced my clear time to under 5 minutes. I guess I like making things harder for myself :^)

You are really making me think to swap from DD Giant to EK when I have the funds for it (hopefully). I mean, DD is fun for me as it get the job done cheaper (I practically only have my Demo staff and Link 9 and I feel I contribute quite decently for tech HM runs. But your EK gameplay looks way more fun, ofc I know you probablly have maxed or near max end game gear maybe just missing extreme min/max in certain aspect which will be couple of billions from where I am but a man can dream lol

The EK changes finally have arrived! I meant to get this out earlier but my internet was failing me :( Heading into this, I estimated I would be roughly getting a 20% increase or more damage in solo DPS (Rage Impact +20% for all EK + Close Combat skills, +4% Instill Max, +20% on Shattering Windmill + Dynavolt Smash combo, and don't forget 8 music buff from harmonic saint and inspiring rate changes c:). Seeing as how my runs were on average 30 seconds faster, it's probably somewhere around there. In party play, I feel that it will actually be even more, because it was very difficult to Rage Impact your own Dynavolts (especially with other EKs, but even without any other EKs, there'd be other things that took it off, like chain blades, knuckles, pets, etc.). Previously I felt like I did no damage if I did not Rage Impact and Crit my Dynavolt Smashes, and felt terrible whenever that happened. Changing it to a duration improves party synergy, while also making damage more consistent, and more importantly, better overall. The new Shattering Windmill is amazing, and even accounting for Dynavolt Smash's slight drop in damage, the two skills combined deal 20% more now, which is a noticeable increase in burst. I was still able to pull off 1m+ Dynavolts in this clear, so the drop in damage is pretty minimal. Under the same conditions, Shattering Windmill also dealt 400k+ damage, so the two combined were a 1.5m burst of damage which is very nice! Rage Impact being changed to a duration also helps the Time Shift burst a lot, as previously I would be lucky to Rage Impact two Dynavolts with the rest being unbuffed, but now all Dynavolts are Rage Impacted :) Also, the updated Rage Impact hitbox is a huge improvement as previously I had to stand directly on top of the boss, which is no longer the case anymore. While I did get a huge crit reaper Dynavolt Smash, I think it just balanced the fact that I only crit 1 out of 6 Dynavolts prior to that which was a bit unlucky. I actually did not crit a Dynavolt again until the very last moment during Time Shift, which I suppose is when it mattered the most though hehe :) P.S. Audio might be a little quieter because I'm trying to make the audio more consistent for the future.

Darkmage is powerful enough to make other arcana look silly, but it's not as fun to play as it should be. It's easy to play with just fireballs, but it can be a little boring.
