I take 5% on a 60/40 allocation. I also have 2-3 years of liquid cash . Have this strategy for 18 years now and works perfectly and my assets are also growing.

No one can guarantee anything! You have to adapt to the market conditions at the time and be prepared to do so!

I'd call it a guideline, not a rule, and I would derive the % backwards from expected expenses, and review every year.

So in other words, instead of calculating your projected annual expenses multiplied by 25 (for 4%),
multiply your projected annual expenses by 21.3 (for 4.7%).
For example, if you think you'll need $40,000 per year, multiply it by 21.3 for a projected nestegg amount of $852,000

Also, did he give a percentage of each that should be in your portfolio?

Withdrawal rule that with no flexibility makes little sense.
RMDs increase every year and inflation and your earnings will mean the withdrawal amount need to be adjusted every year.
Those with the most secure income need to worry less about the ups and downs of the stock and bond markets

If the 4% is more than your normal spending money before retirement because your lifestyle and needs are so much less, why is this such a big hoopla if Ramsy did not say anything?

Inflation has a greater impact on people's cost of living than a crashing stock or housing market,
resulting in an immediate and tangible effect. This explains the current high level of negative market
sentiment, and our need for assistance in surviving this challenging economy. The financial markets have
underperformed due to fears of inflation, causing stock and bond prices to plummet. Despite sounding basic,
consulting a financial advisor has enabled me to outperform the market and achieve a profit of $850,000
since June 2022, making it the ideal approach to enter the financial markets today.
