Hi guys!!! I am finally doing an updated makeup collection :) In this video I show you some of my favourite natural, organic, cruelty free makeup products! I hope you enjoy the video! I only use natural and organic makeup because it’s best for my skin, health and the environment. Many of the ingredients in our makeup/skincare products are absorbed through our skin and sometimes injected (Lipstick). Therefore, I want to make sure I’m only putting safe ingredients on my skin.. Not questionable ingredients that I can’t pronounce the name of! :P I find that a lot of natural makeup products work even better than conventional makeup! As someone who is always on the hunt for non-toxic and organic makeup, I loved seeing your collection. Unfortunately it is hard to find these brands in the gulf and don’t know about the price factor. Nevertheless thank you for sharing this and OMG I am so in love with Bambi ❤️

I eat a lot of organic products. It never occurred to me to use organic makeup products because I thought they wouldn't work well enough or hard to find.

Because you don't upload often and because I adore every single video of yours anyway I treat your uploads like Christmas haha! I don't just watch it quickly while looking at something else, I really sit down, get some water or some tea and soak in everything you show us :) I loved this video. I got the 100% pure squalane foundation and it was too light and also like the concealer, clings onto dead skin! I've hardly used it because of this. I don't want to wear foundation but I stil have some cystic acne and scarring and hyperpigmentation... Does the Alima Pure satin matte foundation smooth over dead skin? Thanks Sarah! :)
Omg I thought I was the only one who did that! I purposefully wait till i'm home, in the bath or relaxing, with some candles and a cup of tea and then dedicate all my attention to the video 😂
holisticmaya I have the same problem. I think I'm gonna try out the minderal foundation
I use the Alima pure after my moisturizer has completely soaked in, I have combo skin and yes it does cling unless the areas are properly moisturized. You can also try mixing it with different oils and moisturizers to make a more "liquid" foundation.

My favorite brand is probably Honeybee Naturals. Their foundation is the first powder foundation that actually makes my skin look better! No breakouts, not drying. And their eyeshadows are amazing. And while I'm not sure how natural Bite Beauty truly is, their lipsticks are now the only ones I use. They always look gorgeous and highly pigmented.
I loved using the beet as a lip stain or blush! And Bambi at the end was too cute:) Thanks Sarah💕!

Gluten free mascara? Does anyone know the reason for that? Do people with celiac have a problem with other mascaras?
the second sunrise as far as I can tell even people with celiac don't react to skin contact with gluten. it's only if you accidently ingest it, so gluten free lipstick would make sense. it's probably just a fad label.
That's what I assumed! I was wondering if I was missing something...
the second sunrise It's because people with celiac cannot tolerate gluten at all and having gluten in their mascaras such as wheat germ can cause eye irritation/puffy eyes. Due to the fact that everything that you put on your skin goes into your bloodstream is the reason why gluten-free is best for people with celiac or gluten intolerances. :)

Pacifica cosmetics and 100% Pure are my go to brands! I've only tried Alima pure once, and I don't really like mineral makeup, but I'll definitely have to give them another try.

I just tried out Red Apple Lipstick for the first time this year and I love it so much! Oh La La didn't look good on me but I am a huge fan of Audrey and I think Second Date is going to be my next order. Lots of fun choices on there, and I like their 6 month guarantee!
I also have a 100% pure lipstick and their second skin foundation. The lipstick is a bit small but so beautiful. And the second skin is so easy to apply and loaded with great oils for the cooler months.

I love the 100% pure healthy skin foundation. I have extremely oily/acne prone skin. That foundation is so nice and dry/matte. It's actually more matte than any foundation I've tried! It reminds me of Estée Lauder double wear.

I love alima pure! I also don't wear liquid foundations, but I've been using their satin matte mineral foundation powder for about 3 years now
Hapatite What is your skin type? I would love to try their mineral foundation but I have dry skin and worry it would just cake on😣
Jennifer Marie Im also more on the dry side but I just simply try to spend more time on skincare and make sure my skin is hydrated first and then I just use this mineral foundation to lightly dust over the face or cover any small imperfections. It really has great coverage. A little goes a long way

Madeleine McNamara I think it's from Madewell. A mock turtleneck sweater. I got it in blush but I'm taking it back. Hand wash garment and I got hot in it. I was about to wear it out but I changed, definitely going back. Madewell is having a sale right now though, FYI

Lady, your hair is just so ethereal! I would have never known you suffered with cystic acne! I don't wear a lot of eyeliner either anymore. Thank you for the close ups and swatches!! This is so helpful! Sappho recently rebranded to My Sappho Paradigm and compltely repackaged and reformulated I believe. Fruit pigments do not last though and and need to be preserved with broad spectrum, this is one HUGE downside of 100% Pure. Its a lovely idea but can be dangerous too for health. I had a mascara from them until it started smelling off after only a couple weeks and caused an eye infection. Lovely collection!

I bought the alima pure creme concealer in the shade echo and it also clings to dead skin. It also leaves creasing and melts off easily.

thank you! thank you! thank you Sarah! I have suffered from serious cases of perioral dermatitis and cystic acne, which required months of antibiotic use to control. There is also a concern for a possible autoimmune source to my facial erythema as well :( But this is the only skin I have so it has become my mission to find healthy products that will help me look less tired (yes, those dang dark circles are a bear to cover up properly). I appreciate the time you've put into this post & am looking forward to trying out these products. Thanks again!!! :)

A mistake that most people make is giving up on products too early. You should really give everything a good 3 months to give a good opinion on whether you like something or not. Unless it gave you a horrible reaction, in which case, yes, you should stop right away.
Like I said, if something makes you look "horrible", there's probably something that doesn't agree with your body and it's okay to stop. If you just get a new blemish or you aren't sure if you love it, give it a few months and your body may get used to it and it may work very well for you. I've had this happen with a few products and they are my holy grail. If you break out a lot and your skin looks irritated, then of course don't keep going. This is coming from someone who's suffered from awful cystic acne, so I know what it's like to look "shitty" for not just three months, but years, so a few month adjustment period in exchange for (hopefully) a lifetime of effectiveness is cool with me.

A long time subscriber and it makes me so happy to see that we use almost all the same brands! I have been using the full coverage 100% pure foundation for more than 3 years now and have always knew about the controversy surrounding the preservative Japanese honeysuckle they use (it is comparable to synthetic parabens). However I have recently come across some pretty unprofessional responses from 100 percent pure on their facebook group trying to avoid acknowledging their use of the preservative completely which makes me question it even more. I have become very conflicted about my favourite foundation brand and would love to hear your stance on the Japanese honeysuckle controversy. Hoping you see this and would really appreciate a reply!
