That was an awesome SOTA activation. I’ve been watching a lot of QRP videos lately and I’m amazed how far you can go with 10W. I just upgraded to my General a few months ago and have been watching channels like yours to figure out what HF radio I want to get. I’m interested in doing SOTAs. I like the idea of hiking and playing radio. 73, KC2KNA
Yeah, KI4HHI and I really like hiking and bringing along radios. We live pretty close to Stone Mountain, so it was convenient to hike up to the top and catch the sunset, while playing radio. Love my 705, but there's plenty of other great QRP radios out there too. Enjoy.
goog one! Thats a qsl card picture sunset! Greetings from kp4gr

You should! Were you at FDR with Matt on Sunday? I did a POTA from CRNRA on Sunday morning and we made a P2P contact.
