The Douglas Horse Trams

Nearly seven years ago I made this short film about the Douglas Horse Trams. At the time we all thought work was going to start on the promenade and be finished very quickly. Ah well.
However, the film is now something of an archive item, recalling the days when we had festoon lighting and attractive street lighting along the glorious Douglas Promenade AND the world's oldest horse tramway was still running.
Enjoy this piece of nostalgia and let's hope that the world famous Douglas Horse Trams will be running again soon.
