Hey there, i'm the one sending this disaster battle.
Thx a lot legend for sorting it out and i'd like also to adress some stuff that aren't going well into the campaign.
You're definitely right about me missing out on upgrading Malakai's airship, my bad i didn't figure out that it would be so useful, i upgraded it a bit in the beggining then never touched it again as i was focusing on upgrading the cities instead, which wasn't a good call that's for sure. Been a long time since i played the game and i just got back at it for this campaign so i wasn't aware about how strong Malakai's airship was (also too dumb to see it myself it seems).
As for the Oathgold, i had something like 800 the turn before because i did a lot of endgame crisis battles right before i hit end turn and in the end turn right before kraka drak attacked me so i wasn't able to spend it for this battle (also i wanted to keep the few i had for the technologies because i really don't like spending time into the equipement pannel, bad habit i know).
I understand my mistakes for the most parts, i'm not a pro at the game just trying my best as a casual but still appreciate this content and the knowledge it brings, so once again thanks for sorting this out and for the advices, I'll make good use of it i swear !
That's one grudge less for me !

Just get rid of the 'everyone gets free ladders' nonsense. They should be choices alongside rams and towers instead.
If the butt laders didn't exist i think they would be much better but as it is walls mean nothing on higher difficulties where the ai is just better than you in melee so holding the walls is impossible
Remove the ladders, honestly that alone would make siege battles way way better.
Sfo kinda solves that issue by making gatehouses and walls super durable. Ladders also tire units more i believe plus towers are op in sfo. I don't agree with all of those changes (esp towers are too powerfull), but it does makes sieges way way way better than vanilla

Thats because those kind of barricades dont keep any enemy up afaik. Plus, when the heck are you even building barricades as a player? Maybe now that towers range is reduced and you cant rebuild them...
On occasion they can be useful to funnel enemy towards a direction... if you ever fight a defensive siege to begin with.

ahhh the 980ti, it can still run ARK at max settings. Honestly it severed better than any other card i have run.
@@GreenDevil51 Haha. His graphics card isn't even a problem. He's mostly only complaining about load times with is mostly his storage and RAM at fault. Sometimes my loading times with WH3 are really bad and I have a pretty fast 4TB M.2 SSD so I have no idea why the game loads so slow sometimes. I get a feeling Legend is still going to have long loading times with his new PC.
@@Chosen92378 Oh I understand that. It doesnt load well on my damn 4070, biggest thing that takes me out of the game to be honest. No i was just commenting/reminiscing on the 980ti and how amazing the card was.

Glad you're getting a new computer in the next week. Okoii managed to get his game looking super crisp with a few texture mods and reshaders. Definitely worth looking into for the videos!
Just had the dwarf end game crisis on my Imrik campaign, I'd taken most of the dwarf territory after they had gotten wiped out, then the end game crisis happened and all the dwarfs came back and were at war with me, am now fighting dozens of top tier dwarf armies. It's taken ages just to make any advancement, and I've had to try and eliminate each of the factions, one at a time. Most fun I've had in the game for ages.

dwarf city maps ive always found to contain atleast one or two deployment zone bugs where they go all the way up to the roof of the map, its really weird, like its going up to the actual visible rocks of the cave above
I saw Kraka Drak return as a rebel faction in a recent campaign, after Throgg had wiped out Malakai.
Kraka Drak is back with a vengeance!
I had this situation a few weeks ago, I was playing on normal difficulty & had a job to get rid of this lot after three attempts with Malakai's levelled up starting army & another emegency RR stack

Calling it "early army losses" is fine. You are technically correct, as the army losses occurs much "earlier" than expected. For the people complaining about the term, "quick army losses" would be more accurate for the critics' time-based army losses.
At 5:00 you can see Dwarf units just being lifted off the ground, that is not normal, did you not spot it Legend?

I noticed this was a thing like the day the dlc launched. But it was funny to later watch Okoii abandon his main settlement immediately during his multiplayer early endgame crisis. Nobody else seemed to know it was a thing so nobody warned him before he started the game.

Once I won a absurd battle just because the AI couldn't manouver their ranged units fast enough to shoot down my gyrocopters. So i basically kept sending my gyros sweeping and auto attacking whatever they could and then run away from their range. The enemy was basically a cat trying to get a shadow the whole battle while under canon fire

I know you don't particularly like mods, but I suggest you try the Kraka Drak faction mod! It's amazing, I'm sure you'll like the roster
I found a few cheesy ways to abuse this map at the very last capture point when defending... Make use of the ramp height gradient and the barricades and you can make some pretty nasty killzones
@LegendOfTotal War you might want to run your new CPU at a lower frequency than stock.
GamersNexus & Level1 techs are currently investigating Intel instability issues.
They have data from Server providers that run 13th and 14th gen K series CPUs and their crash rate is like 50% in a 7 day period.
Intel response to this in the past few months was to make board partners run the CPUs at Intel prescribed power modes (many high end motherboards did boost the power states of CPUs in them to get more performance, this seems to degrade the CPU to become permanently unstable at stock frequencies) but this may not be enough.
So if you experience WH3 crashing during your workdday, try running the system a bit slower.

Hey legend, and community, what you all think about a trade system in warhammer 3, could expand the diplomacy options and for multiplayer it would be nice to send certain items around, cause let’s be honest most items in the game right now are just getting dust but could be used for things like that

I think that's an issue with Australian internet rather than PC speed, Legend has said in the past he didn't want to pay for commercial quality internet.

@Legendoftotalwar Silver pinnacle vampire end crissis if you confederate the faction that holds it the vampire armies wont attack and you cant attack them.. how do you create a rebelling there so the legendary building sealed valuts works?

Can someone explain what "control large army" actually does? I thought it just meant "let me control the reinforcements instead of the AI". Does disabling it make big fights easier?
"control large army" allows each faction to bring 40 total units
not controlling a large army only allows each faction to bring 20 units.
this means that the enemy reinforcements will stream in one unit at a time as you defeat units as opposed to just being on the battlefield at the start
In other words, if the ai has more units (and you can't win), don't control large armies.
There is an option for each army on the left to have the AI control an army. This is independent of the "control large army" option that limits the number of troops on the battleground to 20 per side if unchecked, or 4 when checked.
If you have, say, 21 units, and are attacked by 40, you can uncheck the option, fight 20vs20, then fight the next 20 with what you have left as they come in when you destroy enemy units. It is usually a lot easier than. A 21 vs 40 battle.

The computer seem to be super easy on VH diff. On Normal they just clump up in a big deathball and destroy you.

Late game without perma-Spirit of Grungni horde buildings, and still using dwarf warriors in Malakai's army instead of artillery/war machines, or even at LEAST slayers.. Talk about not utilizing a very good Legendary Lord's strengths :\
