the reason people don't know is because the book of enoch and several others removed that is why no one knows about them. i even said something about it to my pastor she said it was a made-up thing. where someone wrote stuff then threw enoch's name on it. maybe the nazarene college she and her husband went need to start teaching why certain books were removed.
It is true that the book of Enoch is not scripture according to most Christian traditions, but Enoch is referenced severally in the canonical bible. He is a well know patriarch and a true servant of God. That is what matters. Thanks for adding you voice. Remain blessed.
@@quoracles all i know is that when the catholic gave the ok to write the "bible" into another language they withheld many original books from it, then when they started doing it in english version, there are a lot of misinterpretation from the torrah, many of the hebrew words can mean a lot of things so those who interpret the hebrew language they used certain words that they assumed to be what hebrew were talking about. think about it especially in the new testament. why does jesus's life doesn't make since. he was born, went to the temple to worship his father, then nothing in between then all of a sudden he is 30 something and gathering his disciples, teaches, miracles then betrayed and put to death. yeah did a lot of research. many of the books were not put in the new language because the catholic and others didn't want people to know the truth. there are at least 16+ books that was NOT put in the "new" when they decide to copy it into another language

I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. (NIV, 1 Timothy 2:11-12)" Conclusion: Women Cannot Be Ministers or Priests
Many people interpret the fact that Jesus appointed only male apostles, and the New Testament passages cited above as an absolute prohibition of a ministerial role for women. It is the natural order, decreed by God, that women should forever be subservient to men. Based on inerrancy of the Bible, these passages must be taken at face value, and women must forever be barred from roles in ministry.
however, a couple weeks ago their son was welcome into ministry (new pastor) and the one who was running the even made a comment how it we allow women in, um we are protestants, and we are supposed to adhere to the God's word. then i sat there did some thinking. many of us including myself were sunday schoolteachers in the church. its like wow even back then we went against God's words and commands

Enoch is accepted by Jude and seemingly referred to by Jesus. Clearly, his writing is real not fake or Jesus and Jude or others would not refer to it! He may not have had the same authority as true biblical writers do, but his work is not a lie. His work was probably kept by Noah, along with much else from their era, to use as sound literature with which to teach all their decendents of the true origin of the world they could not know because they were born after the Flood. Probably, the post-Flood people created their multiple heathen nonsense on their various ideas based on the pre-Flood history they had no longer any experience with.
