Just a moment, the men in the bible did far,far worse things than any of the women mentioned. The story of Jezebel well, this was changed after 350 years when the bishops came together. The original story was that she loved her husband but another King lusted after her. He killed her husband then threatened to slaughter the city if she did not accept him. Yes, she got dressed and put her face on and when the lustful king came to the city gates she jumped and landed at his feet thus fulfilling her promise. This version was taught for hundreds of years but, the bishops thought that it reeked of a woman sacrificing herself for the good of her people and this could not be tolerated so they changed the story which is still used today. Now there is another story about the first man and woman and her name is NOT Eve (Eve was Adams second wife). But this is for another day.

@@sallyandersen8729 Thanks, well it was written that Adam and Eve were first man and first women but in truth, Adam was the first male and his wife/mate was Lily. One day Adam to Lily to "get beneath me woman". She refused saying that as God had made them both out of the earth they were equal. He kept on and on so Lily got very angry and started to walk the earth. Adam then asked for another woman so Eve was made from Adam's rib. Lily was furious about this and went about the countryside causing havoc. Her story is also told in India where she is called Khali, goddess of war. When hundreds of years later the bishops omitted Lily and just kept Eve as they did not want women to learn about what Lily had done so the church could still have control over women The bishops Aldi drastically altered the story about Mary Magdalena by making her out to be a bad person and a bad sinner. Her story was discovered in the 29th century in the book of Mary which you can see on You Tube.

    We All Must REPENT

    • @NajYlib-c6c
      @NajYlib-c6c 9 часов назад

"Repent" just means "change of mind" in the present moment of time. The Greek word for "repent" is "metanoia" which directly translates to "change of mind" Repentance only happens once, that's when you have a change of mind/heart, in the present time, by reading or hearing the Gospel, and then believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord. When the Bible says "repent and believe" it simply means whatever you are doing in this present time, pause, change your mind/heart and believe in the Gospel. God repented too, in the book of Genesis, how? Because it doesn't mean turn away from sins or ask for forgiveness of sins. God changed his heart/mind and gave mankind a second chance through Noah.

I think Job's wife should be an honorable mention, like seriously what wife tells her husband to " curse God and die"???

    • @MsLadyofaces
      @MsLadyofaces 4 месяца назад +10

We tend to take for granted the people who suffer with us. Did u notice she stood with him in his suffering and as his wife suffered too? She was misunderstood. If we read the story and understand the context, she felt sorry for him and wanted him to have peace from his pain the only way she knew how. She wasn't telling him to curse God and did bc she wanted bad for him. She was a rider who had a moment of weakness as she watched the man she love endure excrutiating pain despite being a righteous man.
She too was seen as righteous in the eyes of Job and God bc they understood and was rewarded and restored with him. It was with her that his legacy was restored so trust, she was not evil.
We should re-read the Bible stories for ourselves and get out of our flesh as we do, so we can understand the context and truth.
I hope I shed some light on that for you. Be blessed!

@@meganprobert6406I understand your frustration and I am even tempted to agree with you Megan, but the truth is God is never a monster, rather, He surely is our 'Loving Father' my Dear Sister...
Owing to several years of human betrayal after creating us(right from the Garden of Eden), The LORD found it incredibly difficult to trust anyone anymore(even a very good man like Job) and this propelled HIM to go overboard by placing a 'bet' on the loyalty of Job; honestly, I think God went too far and I frankly do not support His Actions, but given the great pain God felt in His heart for many years, you should at least try to understand Him just a little bit hmm...

    Do good to others
1 Corinthians 14:4 says that true followers of Christ will desire to do good to others, rather than seeking fame for their speaking or learning. In the King James Version of the Bible, 1 Corinthians 14:4 states, "He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church" 1 Corinthians 14:3 explains that the gift of prophecy is meant to encourage, strengthen, and comfort people In the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, 1 Corinthians 14:3 says, "But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort".
This verse means that people who prophesy speak to others to: Build them up
    Encourage them
    Comfort them
    Help them grow
    Give them hope
    Strengthen them
    Bring healing
    Draw them near

This video made me reflect on the portrayal of women in the Bible. It’s clear that many are depicted as either dangerous, like Jezebel and Athaliah, or incredibly virtuous, like Mary and Ruth. But does this black-and-white depiction of women as either purely good or purely evil oversimplify their roles in society? Should we consider that these women might have been more complex, with motivations and struggles that aren’t fully explained? It would be interesting to debate whether the Bible reflects the full complexity of women’s lives or simply reinforces certain stereotypes.

    Psalm 34:18-22 KJV
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; And saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: But the LORD delivereth him out of them all. He keepeth all his bones: Not one of them is broken.

    Matthew 18:21-22
Jesus teaches Peter that forgiveness is boundless, and that we should forgive others repeatedly. In the Bible, the word "boundless" means something is infinite, eternal, and without limits. Matthew 6:14-15
"For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins". Matthew 3:2
People should repent by changing their inner selves, regretting past sins, and living in a way that proves their change. In the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, 2 Timothy 1:7 states, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind". This verse is about how God gave people a spirit that produces power, love, and self-control.

Ephesians 4:6: "Truly truly I tell you the heavens rejoice! 'One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism'" Matthew 28:19-20
Jesus instructs his disciples to baptize new believers in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit Acts 2:38
Peter tells people to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins Mark 16:16
States that those who believe and are baptized will be saved, while those who do not believe will be condemned 1 Chronicles 16:25
States that God is worthy of praise and should be feared above all other gods The Bible has many verses that mention the fire of God, including:
Hebrews 12:29: "For our God is a consuming fire"
1 Kings 18:24: "Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the LORD, and the God who answers by fire, He is God"
2 Kings 1:10: "If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty"
Job 1:16: "The fire of God fell from heaven and burned up the sheep and the servants and consumed them"
Psalm 50:3: "May our God come and not keep silence; Fire devours before Him, And it is very tempestuous around Him"
Luke 3:16: "He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire"
Leviticus 9:24: "Fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed the burnt offering"
Exodus 14:24: "God dwelt in the pillar of fire"
Acts 2:3-4: "The Holy Spirit dwelt in the flames of fire that fell at Pentecost"Celebration
Pentecost is celebrated on the seventh Sunday after Easter, which is also fifty days after Easter. The liturgical color for Pentecost is red, which symbolizes the apostles' "tongues of fire" and the blood of martyrs. Significance
Pentecost is a day that marks the fulfillment of Jesus' promise to send another advocate to believers. It's also known as the "Birthday of the Church". In the Bible, an advocate is someone who pleads another's cause, defends them, or comforts them. The word "advocate" comes from the Greek word parakletos, which means "helper, adviser, or counselor". m.ruclips.net/video/OKWkYxikygQ/видео.htmlm11s facebook.com/405026503216492/posts/pfbid0czh6bd1oytSrF7SiW3qt9D15vtVaMwm68tyrbFhqXG76xaWcHdHYcFa3UYjYY64ql/?mibextid=cr9u03

    1 John 3:8-10
Those who continue to sin are of the Devil, and are not God's children. God's children do not continue to sin because God's nature is in them. Romans 6:1-4
It is not possible to continue in sin and receive grace. Those who are baptized into Jesus Christ are buried with him in death, and should walk in newness of life. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Those who habitually sin and never repent or turn to God are unlikely to be saved and will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Romans 6:12-23
Sin should not control the way people live, and people should not give in to sinful desires. Instead, people should give themselves completely to God. 12:21 Isaiah 43:18
"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past". The Bible verse that talks about "going back to sin" using the imagery of a dog returning to its vomit is Proverbs 26:11 which says, "As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly.". This verse is often referenced alongside 2 Peter 2:22 where the same analogy is used to describe people who turn back to sin after having been cleansed.

    A Tree and its Fruit
    (Matthew 12:33-37; Luke 6:43-45)
15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. A metaphor for evangelism
In John 4:35-36, fruit is a metaphor for evangelism, where the goal is to help people enter a new life with Christ. A description of the fruits of the Spirit
In Galatians 5:22-23a, the apostle Paul describes the fruits of the Spirit as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. In Genesis 44:16, Judah uses the word "iniquity" to describe the premeditated choice to sell their brother as a slave. Broken faith" is an idiom that means to stop being loyal to or supporting someone, or to betray them Matthew 12:36
"I tell you, on the day of judgement you will have to give an account for every careless word you utter; for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned". 1 John 3:18: "Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth"

This is like saying the most dangerous person in a house is the 4 year old who got into a gun safe a parent left open. What about the Omni powered being that Created the tree, put the tree in reach, created the serpent, let the serpent talk.. ARTICULATELY, what about every single thing God didnt do to make sure it's naive, sinless and quite frankly stupid creation would not get into that gun safe and play with the gun they were so threateningly told not to play with? Eve isn't the reason we have to all suffer and die. God is.

Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man. Kjv I will not meet thee as a man" in the King James Version of the Bible (Isaiah 47:3) means that God will not deal with the enemy (Babylon, in this context) with human compassion or leniency, but will instead punish them with the full force of his divine power, without any possibility of negotiation or mercy; essentially, he will not act like a man would in a conflict, but as a righteous and all-powerful God.
