Great car. Steering is great in Sport mode, but has too many turns lock-to-lock. Needs to be down around 2 turns like the Focus ST. Have never experienced this much grip in a standard road car. Anyone who bags the Megane RS has never driven one!
I totally agree. I recently bought one myself. It's actually been longer than 5 yrs. More like 2009/2010 since the intro of the RS 250. My pet hate is the brakes can be a lot better for such a dynamic performance vehicle. Should have 6 piston brakes. Also, I don't know why Renault didn't install a dual clutch on this. Besides these two factors, I can put up with the bumps on the road and slight in-cabin noise. I recently fitted anti-roll bars both front and back which has made the ride a bit more comfortable in terms of going over potholes and humps. It also makes the car even more nimble round tight bends.
I test drove both the 265 and 275 before I bought the latter. To be honest the 265 probably presents better value for money, but I couldn't get past the 19inch rims, leather recaros, standard Akrapovic exhaust and Ohlins suspension in the 275 trophy.
I owned a 265 but recently sold and changed to 275 trophy. It is PITA for you to upgrade the parts like Recaro seats alcantara akrapovic and ohlins aftermarket for a 265.
i see one listed as rs trophy 275 but without red brembos, they are silver ish, and it doesnt have the stripes. are there different editions? it also has a black lip and not a silver one. i can also see on the add that the tail pipe is silver and not black akropovic

It's not a Trophy then. Silver brembos are found on standard sport chassis so no lsd like you'd get on the cup chassis.
