Wasn’t sure about getting the Ragnaloardmon deck but after this detailed dive those cards sound like too much fun not to pick and play for fun at least
These new starter decks are very cool. I specially like RagnaLoardmon's a bit more, because Jesmon is already a very well cared mon by Bandai, and Its very nice to see other big Digimon but less known get some nice treatment. On top of that, I really like Ragna's whole evo line design. And those reprints of Tamer cards... uf a big incentive, mostly Davis's fault lol
I am thinking of swapping in bt-10 spadamon, bt-9 monochromon and mastertyrannomon, and shivamon into the ragnaloardmon in exchange for the knighthood line. That way with shiva's option card nulling, ragna is immune to all removal.
Great video man, you really broke down the decks and got into the nitty gritty. I'll have to keep an eye out for these decks when I go out. None of my local card stores stock digimon so I have to go out of town or order online to get cards unfortunately. How does ST-9 Ancient Dragon compare to these decks? I have it in the mail coming and am curious. Keep up the phenomenal work man.

Anyone have the opposite experience? My Target had 3 of the premium set but no regular starter decks. I decided to pass on it because it was 60$ and all I wanted were the Jesmon cards/memory gauges.
Are the tamers included good upgrades for the starter decks? I'm a new player, and I'm not sure if I should get the premium deck box, or the two individually.
Competitively, Jesmon is a much better core than Ragnaloardmon. Granted to make it competitive you’ll need a lot of extra cards. Even so, I’d still say Jesmon is better overall than Ragnaloardmon, which kind of sucks because I like Ragnaloardmon more.
This is sooo stupid that Bandai is making these decks so you have to buy 2 decks to make the 1. In the Jesmon Starter you literally only need 10 cards out of the other bought deck the rest are just trash .If you were to buy the singles it would only save 5-7 dollars . The chase cards are only about 8 dollars anyway most of the starter decks don't have chase cards like these 2 I'm just saying in general it's stupid .
Can you do the same thing you did with the st7 and st8 deck were you had them duel each other and then upgrade them and do a rematch
It still baffles me that they didn't go with the better tamers for T.K., Tai, and Matt T_T
The thing is the good Tai tamer had a reprint in Starter deck 11 which is now a box topper for BT10

Just bought the Jesmon today. Still have 2 unopened premium decks too. Bought all of it at Walmart.

Just pulled an alt art Jesmon GX from my first box. Guess I know my first deck for bt-10!

You could run Tai and Izzy in Ragna, but T.K and Matt are in theory generic in any deck. Davis and Ken not so much
I was going to my local target for something else and just happened to see like 8 of the premium deck boxes so I grabbed 2.
I got two of each put the two copies together so me and my homie can learn to play

It premium just comes with alternate arts 2 promo packs , but not the tamers.
