Super cool... it is funny how high this game has the standard fiction... and yea wooden coasters are so much fun to build
Ah, good to hear that you agree about the friction. Maybe you have some tips and tricks to share with us about building wooden coasters?
@PlanCoBySeb just seeing this question now...and I really don't...I would like to think I have made some good ones...but don't have any specific tips lol
@@seriomarkj That’s fine. If you come up with any, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
I always struggled on building woodies, now you gave me motivation to build one on my park :D
Nice to hear! I am glad I was able to motivate you. 😄
for wood coasters i usually drop the friction to 0.7 because they tend to keep speed better than steel
Ah, thank you for your input. Will try it next time. Really appreciate it! 🙏🏼
How do you reduce friction?
@@ItsNoelMulkey Enable friction multiplier, (tick the box) and drag the slider as desired.
@@ItsNoelMulkeyin the customization settings on the coaster you reduc the friction multiplier
Great video! I love it
Thank you so much!
I think I was your 1,000th sub! Congrats man and love the videos. About to binge watch and get some inspiration for my park.
Thank you! Do you are the magic 1000 haha. I am glad you find my videos helpful and inspiring. Exciting with a park-build. 🎢👌🏼
@@PlanCoBySeb No worries, thank you for the helpful videos.
May I ask how you plan your coaster design please. Do you sketch it out on paper first, have the rough layout in your thoughts, or do you simply sit at the PC and build on the fly?
Many thanks, and keep up the good work!
Of course. It depends. This time I browsed through different wooden coasters layouts by Gravity group online and went with the combination of elements I liked the most, to stay true to real life. But with the steel coaster design, I just had a good flow and the layout came by itself. However, I always look at references photos first to capture the characteristics of each coaster type. I hope it make sense. How do you plan your roller coaster layouts? ☺️
How do you have the coaster track in the ground? I’ve seen that with ur water rides as well. It’s a nice touch, but I can’t seem to figure it out lol.
I believe it is a setting. Or simply disable the tunneling in the build menu. ☺️
I would love to see you attempt a 4D coaster
Yeah, I tried it once, it was super tricky and I wasn’t happy at all. However, I need to give one more try. Thank you for your suggestion!
@@PlanCoBySeb I have yet to try myself! It’s probably the hardest one to build besides the free fly!
@@seaworldfan2421 most definitely
This might sound dumb but I was wondering if you could make a tutorial on how do download the mods where you can like put whatever car you want on whatever track.
Oh I see. I am not using mods myself though.
I believe that you can simply check a box in the settings to have more car options. You only need mods if the car that you want is still not listed.
Really? I had no idea. I might have to do some research to see how it works. ☺️
is there any chance you could share your subscribed Workshop items? i would love to subscribe to them all bc i love all of the stuff you can work with!
Yes sure! Or go to my workshop, download my parks and most of the workshop items will be downloaded together with the parks. ☺️ But yeah, that’s actually a good idea for a future video “off topic”. For example: top 10 most useful TMTK items in Planet Coaster. Don’t you think? ☺️
Launch coaster tutorial at some point in this series?
Sure, I will try my best to cover it at some point. Thank you! 🙏🏼
4:40 what workshop item name is the steel beams?
I am pretty sure it is named just that: steel beam, on the workshop
