Iliza's thing is five thousand times more practical for someone poor, without a lot of time or patience, and without a dishwasher. And Noah's thing inspires me to want egg rolls.
Honestly when you're poor and busy nothing beats throwing everything in a pan and hoping for the best. I created plenty of meals like that in my 20s that I later refined into something worth serving other humans after I got a bit more cash and time.
I find this extremely relatable and would watch every episode like this. I was literally subsisting on clif bars, cheese sandwiches, and pasta until I married my husband (not a chef but a serious foodie) and he started feeding me. Major reason why we got married 😂❤
There must be a 30s version that's splits the difference. Chicken quesadillas with spinach dip because those taquitos are still way too much effort for me
