At the Dover Air Force base (where this video was filmed in flight simulator) they have an aircraft museum full of airplanes that you can go inside of. One of the planes that you can go inside of the cockpit of is a retired c5 galaxy. Sometimes they even bring active duty variants of the c5 out so people can go in them. Just thought it was interesting that the video about the c5 is at the Dover Air Force Base where you can go inside the cockpit of a retired one
That doesn't even sound anything like a C5 Galaxy, especially those wonderful original engines. It's about an octave and a third higher pitch, and if it's the newer engines, it'd be about the same, give or take a note above or below. I know it's fsx, but it should sound like them at least. And I mean higher than the pitch here.
Ok. It gets better about halfway through the video. Now that's more like it! I would have loved to hear that in real life! That's one fantastic plane, especially the older one. Yes, it's loud, and it thunders at takeoff, but that sound tells us there's power in themthere wings, ur engines!
