Man i grew up in this time it hit different im telling you. Pac number one. Realest bar was aint no hope 4 the youth but the truth is aint no hope 4 the future
As a kid from the projects that loved hip hop and held on to every word pac said..I remember when he passed it was like losing a brotherI remember everyone was tore to pieces over it.I think if he was still alive today he would be moving mountains and bringing people together. He was so smart but so young.he would have turned a corner with a couple more yrs and I really believe he would have done some amazing things.
Not to many rappers can make you feel emotions like Tupac, this is probably Tupac’s greatest song celebrating the black woman, I prefer this track over Dear Mama but you can’t go wrong with Tupac!!
“While the rich kids is driving Benz I’m still tryna hold on to surviving friends” 😭😭 felt like that in like hs cs why yalll got bennnzzz & Ian have no friends 😭
I really enjoy watching your reaction and hearing the different perspectives. It’s sad that PAC’s songs are still very much relevant today and what makes it sad is that some of the problems/issues going on then are still happening now.
"My closest rode dogz" "Ballad of a dead soalja" "Street Fame" "Holla at Me""Hail Mary""blasphemy""Lufe of an Outlaw""krazy""White mans world"hold your head". Some of my personal favs. True Pac fans only
No he wrote this because first he's a poet. I know for a fact because I wrote poems and stories and rhymes. He has books and books and rhymes and poetry everywhere. So he has thoughts on all subjects.
I’m a 57 year old white female who’s always loved Tupac but have only recently taken a deeper dive into his discography. Growing up, I was never made aware of how the upper echelons of society had set up the black communities to fight against each other and to fail. I assumed businesses were in place because the business owners bought or rented that property and that’s what they wanted to put there. I couldn’t see that it went much deeper than that and there was SO MUCH psychological control going on. It angers me that it not only has been allowed but was coming down from the top all along, that it was actually ORCHESTRATED that way.
I didn’t know y’all was from Park Heights. My family owned the Preakness lounge on Pimlico Road since the early 70s. Liquor stores are zoned meaning there are only certain zones in the city that you can have one. I don’t want you to look at us like we were hurting the community, because believe me, a lot of people needed a drink in the morning as opposed to just wanting a drink. We gave back to the community all the time, so don’t think we were just there to make money. I talked a bunch of people from going to wild out on their Wife/Girlfriend, other dudes etc. You should react to Mobb Deep And Nas, you’ll be amazed at both of their Catalogs! Peace
This was a poem 2Pac wrote and put it to music. There's a video of him reading it to a class he was invite to. Later he put it to music. This song was an athem for women. He put in words what women felt for years. 2Pac was very intelligent. For punishment his mother made in read. His mother was part of the Black Panther movement. Do research on him. Look up interviews. He talks about Trump and everything he said, it now coming true. Ice Cube did make Boys to the Hood John Singleton did. Research Research you will learn alot. You guys have youtube and all types of stuff now to research that we didn't have back then. Deep Dive.
I'm gen x yes it was rough back in the day you think there is violence and bullshit now that ain't shit to back when i was growing up. I grew up in the the projects too. The only difference between now and then is now you have it on video.

Bro today's day and age is a absolute joke compared to the 90s. Put it this way? In the 90s if you preached Little Wayne's a great rapper? You get your ass kicked. If you acted a fool like 90% of today's world. You'd be branded a try hard. Now! Its cool to be a try hard. Women think and argue that sex is a worthy respected job, Only Fans... we don't no anymore the difference between reality and BS!!@$#$# 80s/90s were the best times possibly in modern history. When it took real talent to make it. Today? 90% show 10% class
Maybe when you destroy the grocery stores in your neighborhood new ones will think twice before moving to that neighborhood people like to talk about the consequences but never want to talk about what led up to those consequences

David Hollister of Black Street is singing the hook
He’s also singing on “Brenda’s Got a Baby”
Appreciate the comment
I love pac
Also I believe Shock G may have done most of the beats along with Johnny J.
No he wrote this because first he's a poet.
I know for a fact because I wrote poems and stories and rhymes.
He has books and books and rhymes and poetry everywhere. So he has thoughts on all subjects.
Chicken Koop up parkheights chicken box salt pepper and ketchup and a half n half I remember those days
Good on you for feeling your emotions. The opposite is anhedonia, and that is territory that you don't want to enter.
Dre only did 2 beats for Pac. Johnny J made most. But a lot different was involved
