    When I got out of the military I did the same thing, those undershirts are just too comfortable lol. What'd you shave with though? A mushroom?! Anywho, I have grown mushrooms for a couple years mostly for personal consumption but after having watched all your videos I think it might be time for me to upscale and start doing it commercially. Truly, thank you for all your videos. You are essentially showing how to run a mushroom business.

    Try horizontal air fan mixing. I find it helps a lot with mixing zones in greenhouses

    How do you keep a steady stream of product pumping without under or over producing? I presume over producing grain spawn, bulk substrate, etc is the safe bet and you control the flow of production by how much you allow to fruit at any given time?

    Man, I only have a small FC but every time I grow Lions Mane, they turn a little yellow and taste horrible when I cook them. Last batch I grew, same thing, so I just dehydrated the works of it and made some tinctures

    Hi Brother, is it possible to grow button and shiitake mushrooms together since their spawn run and fruiting temperatures are similar ?

    Whazaap. I grow lions mane in Brasil. I noticed you don't fold your bag, doesn't top fruit because of the air on the top of the substract inside the bag?

    What's your opinion on a fruiting tent within the the say 70-72 range? Starting small and experimenting :). Any recommendations to keep a tent cooler?

    • @MyersMushroomsFarms
      @MyersMushroomsFarms  3 года назад +1

      Run a window or portable ac outside the tent and get the temps lower.

    4:30 "day or two" what? my lions mane takes ways longer to finish growing, like a week from that point, is this normal?

    • @themyceliumnetwork
      @themyceliumnetwork 3 года назад +2

      that depends on your strain, if you get a commercial strain they will fruit faster & be more dense.

    • @themyceliumnetwork
      @themyceliumnetwork 3 года назад +1

      I can colonize 5lbs of rye grain using 10 ml LC in 10 to 12 days
      using 0.5lb to 1lb grain spawn per 5lb fruiting block they will fully colonize in 4 to 6 days
      harvest is about 7 days after that.
      that makes at most 25 days from syringe to table.

    • @CMZneu
      @CMZneu 3 года назад

      @@themyceliumnetwork Yeah mine colonise just fine, as fast as my blues if not faster, it's just the fruits that take forever... it is pretty cold here though, around (45-59f), what temp do lions mane like to fruit?

    I saw in your video in the room for forcing mushrooms on the ceiling a working antibacterial lamp? if so, please tell me, does it harm the mushrooms?

    Oysters will still fruit in the 60’s?

    • @MyersMushroomsFarms
      @MyersMushroomsFarms  3 года назад +2

      I had them down in the 40s last winter. It just slows them down. Higest quality when cold like that.

      @@MyersMushroomsFarms interesting, thank you for the response! Do you have any tips for cultivating in a greenhouse? I’m a student in college and will be cultivating mushrooms for them in a month when they rebuild the greenhouse
