I'd like to have a Prius-like official vehicle with sedan, hatch, and wagon configs. One of my favorite things to do in beam is making everyday passenger vehicles comically fast.
Hey @fillman86! I just noticed how excited you are in 18:30 . There is a dual motor electric Tograq variant. It has two electric engines. Just wanned to let you know that having 2 engines is possible. I think you can't have two transmissions but you can definitely have 2 engines
yeah the transmissions are the biggest (but not only) issue, I was just saying how I think this is one of the issues that they'd addressed (unless this was in the game from the beginning)

You could probably map the straight cut gear transmission sounds to the electric motors to get an approximation, but just the output sound, not input, as the input follows the RPM of the engine, while output increases pitch with speed.
Make more pigeon stuff. Also Gillman you gotta work more on your tractor automation mods. Some fixtures and all are very annoying to deal with (I'm sorry for being a bother)
Ohh my god yess! You just made my autobeam experience so much better! Finally I can do more with my hybrid concept than make silly adverts :o Already tested one and the little extra kick is SO much fun!

it's not too hard to fake it with builds in automation. But if you mean actual diesel? It's something I'd been considering, but it's a bit of a rabbit hole. So it's on my list still, but not sure when I'll attack that issue
@fillman86 oh yeah thanks for that! This makes automation way more interesting. I also just wished the beamng devs would work on different propulsion systems like; Electric, hybrid, steam, maybe even coal powered machines that would be dope!

@@fillman86 Don't they have some kind of bump start system? Like the electric motor takes it up to a certain speed in the pits then they fire up the gas engine. I must say Cadillac's still gives me chills.

It tries to drive forward while the ICE is going in reverse. I don't know if you mentioned this in the video or not, or if it can even be fixed.
all cars export with electric stuff already anyway. In fact I utilised that already in the original version of this mod, and all the work arounds to make it hybrid made it too hard for people to use
me? I end up putting all mods on the repository. I just put mods up the moment they're completed (usually a week before the video goes live) privately on patreon. Then they're submitted to the repository for approval around the time the video goes live though mods that are made in automation can't be sold for money, so if they go on my patreon, they are not behind any pay-wall

just double checked, and it works as expected. Make sure you're using it right, and that it's not conflicting with other mods you may have activated :)

well I do have more plans to make this even better. but there's many things that'll make it difficult still
The only thing missing is the electric motor sound in tandem with the gas engine, like how hybrid LMP1s, hybrid LMH, and LMDh cars sound

yes, but your car would drive in circles depending which has more power at which rpm

only 1 power source can be in a powertrain line. Though I do have a dodgy workaround that i'll look into soon

We need more hybrid beamng vehicles!! There are a couple mods but I only know 1 that actually works decently. (Sunburst Hybrid)
well now all automation cars are also hybrid. Though currently not all perfect

yeah, but you can take what you learned here, and take the code from my mod to make versions for what ever you want
I don't think the regen works :( I do hybrids pretty much same as u did in the vid and have been struggling with regen for the longest time now.
oh I didn't address that, but regen can work, and I believe it does work with the way I do it. It's just that it just charges so little
Hybrid F1 in Beamng with regen would be so cool, especially considering we've only had the same easy to drive F1 mod on Beamng for the longest time
