Motor stall function is available under fault function. You can define max current limit expected during motor stall ,and define the stall speed and stall time.
Hello, great work, thanks. I have question for you, I worked with m/f but I got vibration! could you tell me which of the modes gives less vibration (Torque or Speed control)
Hello, thank for your videos they are very helpful! However, i have a small issue with the M/F config, which is that the Follower doesn't recieve the Master's used speed reference even though i made the same configuration (PLC not included). Some help would be very much appreciated !
In our project we are using two acs880 vfds in master-follower configuration. We are facing a problem that sometimes(not always) even master is stopped the slave still keep running. We switced master to slave and slave to master as well but still some time this happens to the slave again. Yet we do not have any idea what the problem is. Could you please advice what is the problem?
In acs800 master slave configuration,Sometime slave run in negative direction even if master is running in forward direction. Here slave is torque follower of master.During this time we have observed slave goes to negative torque where as master torque is positive.
Great work ....I was looking this video from last 1 year . May God bless you .
Excellent explication..
Thanks for the video. How would one best control the follower in "emergency" in case there is an failure with the master?
Nice sir,its very useful &important video ,sir I request for using of user defined macro using run different rating motors in different modes
EXCELLENT EXPLANATION.....Can you simulate stall protection of ACS 880 drive??
Motor stall function is available under fault function. You can define max current limit expected during motor stall ,and define the stall speed and stall time.
@@averageengineer4266 thank you for your reply...
Sir aap ke videos bahut helpful hai .
I request you plz make video on master slave and load sharing application
Load sharing is possible when the follower is configured as a torque follower. I have explained this in the video
Thanks for sharing your knowledge

Good Explanation...Thanks
Thanks! can you will show programming drive ACS880 in automation builder, FSO safety settings and so on. That would be cool
Yes, i will make a vid on this., Thanks
十分感谢

Hi, does the follower get the start command from master?
@@averageengineer4266 Hi, no the follower doesn't get any information.
Not sure what went wrong, you could check the d2d link
I've tried it with new drives (ACS880 ZCU 12) it didn't. It worked with two orhers (ACS 880 ZCU 12L)
Are you providing any off line training for the ABB DCS / PLC / Drives .??
Never done training bro, i just make video when i get time.., thx
Sir how to communicate 2 drive in drive composer
thanks.

Can u share drive parameter backup
What have you observed?

Is it possible to configure Master follower , without using D2D link ???
D2D link is available on all acs800 drives. Other option is to use additional fdco card and use fiber optic cable for communication
