*Learn How to Paint a Beautiful Iris* Easy enough for beginners and so fun. Iris are a gorgeous welcome to Spring and you can decorate anything you wish with this lovely way to paint them!
I love your tutorial and I’m practicing but I think I have the wrong brush. It’s a 3/4 in flat brush but you said “one stroke”. Is that I certain type of bristles?
Hi Virginia, if you go to the blog post linked in the description box I have a supply list, I have the brushes linked to a source there. The brushes I use most often are the Donna Dewberry One stroke set, it has the 3/4 inch flat included in it. I hope this helps.
No this is just Plaid Folk Art craft acrylics, they are the right consistency for this type of stroke work. Also you can use Plaid FolkArt Floating medium to help if the paint does not go on smoothly but not a lot.
Wonderful I don’t know what kind of paint you used can you tell me a little bit about your pain this is not what the color it looks like we’ll maybe it’s acrylic
These are craft acrylics in the bottle. I also use Golden Artists acrylics in the tube and I love their Golden Fluid acrylics. I demo with craft acrylics for a more economical start for most beginner painters.

How does your paint stay wet bcz it's soo smooth. What do you mix in it? I use water.. When I do these type of techniques it doesn't work
