  • Hi DIY friends! Today I'm making my dream plant, a Pink Princess Philodendron. Better yet a plant that I can't kill. I found this photo on Pinterest and knew I had to recreate it. I have linked the free pattern for you to follow along with the video. If you recreate this project I would love to see it, please tag me in your photos! If you are new to crocheting I have linked other videos you can watch to learn the very basics. I have also link some supplies if you are in need of some crochet hooks.

    This looks amazing but I wish you showed one example of how you did the mixed colored leaf. I'm mainly wondering about the tail ends.

      I crochet over the tails to hid them

    I can’t believe I found this video by searching “crochet houseplant” on the day I found my big, healthy Pink Princess at Walmart for $19.99

    This is so beautiful!❤ i was wondering if you used a medium worsted or dk yarn

      Thank you I believe a worsted weight. Hope that helps

    Hi there, I’m following your written pattern which is different to what you do here. 🫤 But is every round meant to be alternating? Or do you ever chain 1 and turn? Or do you do one side after the other?

      I believe it’s a cotton blend

    Hey I’m just checking, when you’re doing the other side of the leaf you are doing the pattern mirrored rather than the exact same again right? I think my first leaf came out wrong as I just rewound the video and did the exact same again haha but these leaves are fabulous and thank you for this fab pattern xx

    • @diykristin
      @diykristin  Год назад +1

      Yes you are mirroring the other side. I’m so glad you are loving it!

    I'm trying to follow this pattern and I am very confused once you "turn" it and repeat. Am I repeating the pattern front to back? Or reversing the first row? Or on the written pattern do I jump to row 2? Thanks in advance

    • @diykristin
      @diykristin  Год назад +1

      You are repeating the previous row backwards. I hope this helps. The stitch you are working on should the the same as the one across from it

  • @Artbyalexisbartlett

    And what does “ST” mean in the written pattern?
