Thrifting is a great thing. Much of my kitchenware was thrifted. I'm big into cast iron cooking and stainless saucepans. I have several vintage brands of cast iron skillets, all bought at thrift stores. I have all kinds of copper and stainless steel clad saucepans, all bought at thrift stores. Stainless mixing bowls. Vintage Corning Ware bowls & PYREX lids.....
If you're just a little bit patient, stop by often, and are diligent in understanding what's good vs. what's great in the field in which you are shopping, you can wind up with a kick a$$ cookware set for pennies.
And let's not forget that learning to cook is one of the joys of life.

@skippythetubrat You have some awesome finds and collections! Love that. Totally agree with everything you said. Not to mentionthe fun of it, thrifting is a way to save money for a lot of things if you don’t mind 2nd hand stuff.
As a new home owner, we bought a lot of things like paintings, decorations, small appliances, baking dishes, kitchenware’s, corningware and I have 2 sets so far with same design. I am on the watch for them. Learning to cook is so rewarding ❤️
Now I have to be careful not to over buy or soon we will be donating back to thrift store 😋

Bought a 12 year old George Foreman grill from goodwill before I left for boot camp. Took it with me overseas and it’s still going strong 6 years later
