MIVV and Moto Machines stepped up! It seems to be the exception these days. Love the new pipe!

The reason the engine goes silent when you pull the clutch in is probably due to emission requirements, the fuel injector basically turns off or goes very low when you pull the clutch in. You can install a "chip" to tell the fuel injector to blend more gasoline, recently ordered a ReCycler mod from a guy in the Netherlands that's supposed to improve it for aroung 50 EUR. Haven't installed it yet but it's filly reversable and is supposed to be a good upgrade for the bike. It can be a pain to ride around cities and I thought it was due to low torque but heard some great stuff about the mod.

Great video and review, I wont call the missing spring nor badly located badge defects though, but rather mistakes.😊 Since I live in Canada too, was it still better to buy the exhaust from the US? How was shipping and duties cost wise? You seemed to have made the exhaust popular, they are out of stock 😮

Thanks! I'm in Canada and have one brand new in box if you're interested. youmotorcycle.com/contact-us send me a msg through the form on my site and I'll email you back. If you're in the GTA you can pick it up in person if you'd like.

    HELP PLEASE
i have a new but left over 2022 triumph scrambler XC…..the ride is always bumpy. new paved roads are bumpy.
if you were to ride this bike in a track the ride would be bumpy
    old paved roads are bumpy.
    the ride is always bumpy.
my bike is a 2022, which i bought this week in june of 2023.
considering it’s a left over i’m thinking it has been sitting in the showroom for a long time and one or both tires have a flat spot.
as that flat spot hits the ground on every revolution, it will feel bumpy.
i could be wrong but that’s the only thing i can come up with.
    unless the suspension needs tuning.
even if the suspension needs tuning the ride should be smooth of pavement, especially a newly paved road. this is why i think it’s flat spots on the tires.
have not che led the tire pressure, assuming the pressure is correct from the dealer.
    your thoughts ?

Suspension set too stiff maybe? Should be able to see if there are flat spots on the tires from a visual inspection so do that too. Make sure they aren't over inflated.

No and honestly I think it's just fine like this. Don't want to do work for the sake of work. Does it make a big difference?

@@YouMotorcycle I'd like to say I have good tech knowledge but I don't. I removed my catalytic converter by cutting my pipe open and removing the restriction, which opened my eyes as to just how much restriction there really was inside the pipe. My GS feels a lot more rev happy now even with the stock canister.

@@YouMotorcycle I think the only way to be sure of any differences when doing modifications is to put the bike on the dyno before and after.

    • @tropicalrc5163

@jasonludlow8057 For performance gains yes, however after having a BMW and Euro car performance shop for many years, installing any cat back exhaust increased engine performance, confirmed on the dyno many times. Will that be applicable to the twin motorcycle engine with 800cc displacement, I can't say but would expect that especially with the dB killer removed. I just got my F650GS 800cc and might consider this exhaust.
