I have a challenge for you whenever you do another travel dash. Come down to Louisiana, specifically south of New Orleans for at least 1-2 days, then hit the bigger cities like New Orleans and see what our markets are like using your strategies. It would be cool to see the difference in offers between a native and a tourist/traveler.
Also, that's crazy hours. I wish I could push myself like that. I keep saying I will but then I use my kids as an excuse not to. 😂 School starts in 2 weeks though, so I should be able to put the hours in.
you are getting your car lisc. I lucked out in March i got my car lisc in 9 min. I timed it., in Chippewa, Pa, when i lived in California i remember waiting 45+ min
OMG, the Wendy's order tipped?? I'd have bought a lottery ticket after that! My first thought when I saw it sitting on the counter, "yep, no tip on that one" lol
Doordash does not care about allowing too many drivers. That article you mentioned was for California, you know Prop 20. They are losing a lot more money having to pay all of that extra money to drivers so of course they are freezing/slowing the "hiring" in those areas. I can't schedule is my area b/c they keep hiring more drivers.
Hi Charlie! You have restaurants there that I have never heard of. Hop cat. Also I haven't seen a village inn since I left Colorado, I didn't think they were still around. I'm glad that they are. What a long week you had. Good grief
Hi Charlie, I have a question for you. Does being a Platinum dasher with all high ranking help any on EBT, I’m thinking no but just wondering, forgot to ask CS on the last call. Also questioned them on stacked orders not paying time for each individual order. If they are pretty much the same time frame if one does not have a tip I basically delivered that order for free. Also questioned if I am on a delivery and I decline a stacked order it should not count as one of my declined/unassigned for the hour. I think I had to wait an hour after 2 before I could do EBT again. Just curious and throwing some stuff out there.
$1300 W0W Congrats. Stay safe on your trip. Last Sunday morning heading north on 10th, near alphabet city. I woman heading east ran a stop sign.I swerved to the right. She hit her brakes and missed hitting me in the drivers door by about a foot.
Wow, that’s a lot of hours for one week. Has to have take a mental and physical toll on you not to mention your vehicle. Think of how many times you got in and out of the car. I’m much older than you but can only do about 2 to 4 hours a day and try to take at least one day off. In and out of the car takes it toll on my back and legs and after I’ve made so much it’s hard to accept that next order for $6 or whatever on EBT, just want to go home at that point. I am determined to go 8 hours and 40 for a week soon just to see and I don’t go out at night. I think about $125 for 4 hours is the best I have ever done. Take care man and good luck.
This past summer been hot and humid here I couldn’t do DoorDash lease 2 hours I been getting good order pay. I hate wait inside a hot car with air conditioning for 30-45 min for a order
Congrats Charlie, I watch your channel every day, I wish I could produce content like you....I'm still out there trying, our uber market is way oversaturared as well as Spark, if you don't get out there and run with the wolves, you won't eat
I had the worst weekend I've ever had on dd and ubereats. Sometimes waiting 3 hours between offers. Hopefully, it's just because it's the couple weeks before schools are back in.
I’m moving to Nebraska soon. Too many people here in the Bay Area. I just hope when I move there, there are some good looking chicks in the area that I’m moving to. 😁
No way you can do that in Kansas, you drive more, reject more.i combine GrubHub and doordash and ezcater and it still sucks... I'm going back to w2 in 3 weeks... Doing this PT... this just kills your vehicle full time and gas prices eat profits, and my vehicle gets good mpg.... So many offers try to pull me 7-10 miles out... Impossible to be platinum... Back to decline City for me... Still making the same as 18% vs 80%😂
I've heard that Uber has turned away driver applicants as well. I think they take on more drivers because as drivers we have more flexibility/freedom when it comes to when/where we drive. Uber has 16 regions (right term?) within the city, and I believe 5 outlying areas. I am guessing of course, but I think they hire enough drivers to potentially cover all regions. Because we are not assigned regions some become over saturated, and the crappy areas lack drivers.

Wonder why the shopping orders now say "distinct items"

Great hustle man , the new car helps you 😂, no seriously congrats 🎉
I also hate picking up from Slim Chickens but my reason is they are never ready. They are so slow!
I would have grabbed Cory's order myself. Aint no way I'm waiting that long for staff lol!
