i LOVE how vindicated Lowko must feel because he has been hating those carpets from the beginning and then they turn out to actually be objectively bad for the game.

That carpet was hovering off the ground which is why it hid burrowed units. It also hides if you have a unit selected or if you are hovering over it.

Watching this after brood war, I can safely say, SC2 needed more blueberry juice the protos puddles are a missed opportunity.
Spirit has quite the fighting spirit, staying in the game despite taking heavy losses. Has, on the other hand, Has quite the aggressive builds.

I'm glad to see the advocation for the removal of the dumb carpets has come to a satisfactory resolution.
Even when theres no more carpets, Lowko will still find a way to complain about them.

I like how Has plays, very chad indeed. Probably could of won both games but he really overextended and dived in too deep after scoring good advantages. Especially game 1.

This is a weird thing I'm about to say because I get that there's no real "good" solution.
But knowing it's a best of 3 makes it so I know who's going to win the second game when it starts because the video length is too short for 3 games total :(
There is one cnc commenter who has every video set to 1 hr with extra footage at the end
It is a good solution but not that good since people complaining he do that for monitization :(
I just avoid looking at the video length before and during the matches.
@@suta7 It’s a good solution, but it’s something most channels don't do because "retention" (when people click off your video) is a big part of your standing in the algorhithm, so doing that is basically sacrificing views.
Like said earlier, dont look at the timer at the start... simple solution.
also about casters adding in blank time at the end of the video... HORRIBLE idea, no one will ever watch your channel and put it on autoplay. (especially if you are like me and set an hour timer for youtube to watch while going to bed)

I didnt actually catch that game at IEM, quiet fun to watch! But when can we move forward? Ive seen most games live, so Id appreciate more non-IEM content again.
We've seen quite a few times situations where HAS' idea is actually good but the execution is not really on point. Hopefully he can improve that in the future.

i feel like protoss needs a better way to get detection, Terran can just scan, Zerg can make overseers from overlords (which they will have a lot of anyway).
Maybe the Observer should just be morphed from a probe after a robo is created?

I always wonder why if Terrans have the warp technology available for the BC, why they just don’t warp nukes all over the enemy base and that’s it 🤷🏻♂️
Why just not warp the BC into the ground? Lighter than speed travel hitting the ground? Nuke is a joke at that point.
