- 28 SEPTEMBER 2020. One of my most favourite notebook cover and organiser. I have yet to use this as intended: To travel with. (Due to the pandemic). This organiser and cover also makes a GREAT bible cover ( 10:14 ). Cheaper than rebinding...!
(I no longer read the bible, beyond going to it for references, but this bible has a special place in my heart).
The Superior Labor is a Japanese company, and Nomado Store a Belgian one.
TSL is spelled the American way, "LABOR", without a "U".

NOTE
The "ten leather cover for one of these" comment in this video was NOT an exact calculation of costs, but a RANDOM NUMBER I PULLED OUT OF MY ARSE for the purpose of illustrating a point. (I should have said "several" instead of ten. The real numbers are really more around 2x to 4x as much).

"We came up with the idea for the Writer's Organizer a creative meeting with The Superior Labor in 2018. We were looking for a genuinely practical leather accessory which had to be travel and stationery-related.
We were actually travelling at the time this meeting took place and were regularly inspired to write up our daily adventures. We decided to design an accessory for all "travelling writers".
The strap closure (no zipper!), pen compartments and A5 notebook sizing were our personal choices. The Writer's Organizer is a reflection of our personal tastes, we hope it will suit yours too!
The design is loosely based on the Pen Roll and uses the same leather."

Thx for this video. I’ve been looking for a review for a while now. 🙂 To see one properly helps get my head around what it looks like with a book in it. I’ve got a hardcover A5 I want to put in it along with so many others 😂👍🏻 You showing that bible in the Brown cover answered my one thought about how thick a book will fit! 🤩

Hello! I am still using it as that Bible cover and I am very happy about it. I don’t really read the Bible these days but The Good News Bible has a special place in my heart. Everything is in storage but that Bible made it to my current place. As stationery accessories only one caution: Your fountain pens will be running against each other in that pen pocket on the left. Hello Two Mice on my Shelf, I just saw your video of the organiser. I’m very interested but I have two questions for you: do you use this organiser still after two years? And how is writing on the left site (the site with the buckle)? I hope you will read my questions…..

Hello Petra! Sorry I only just saw this comment from you! I still love this cover but yes writing on the left side with the bulge is a bit tricky. So I now use this mainly as a cover and I do not fill the left pockets with too many things. This way once I take the pen out to write on the notebook, there is not much there on the left side.
How are you still liking the TSL organizer? I’m considering purchasing this item and your review is the only one I can find.
I am liking it! The only thing for me though is that pens running together next to each other in a soft shell compartment like this is not an ideal way to travel as this setup scratches the pens. That is true for any soft shell pen compartments. Also when writing on the left side you have the bit of bulk underneath that side of the notebook, again typical of designs which placed compartments on the other side of the cover and therefore is the unavoidable part of such a design. Other than that, their quality is always superb, although the prices with exchange rates and international shipping can become prohibitive after awhile!
