Juan De Fuca - Photography roadtrip

This trip was tough. i spent the entire time wet and sleeping in my car and taking opportunities inbetween storms to capture some special moments in the Juan De Fuca region on vancouver island. hope you enjoy the shitshow that is this photography vlog!

Matt, thanks for the memories! That sea cave is where we met for the third time and chatted for a bit. It WAS a wet day. I left after you headed off in search of the falls - the water was getting closer, and I didn't want to get stranded in the cave. It was so wet my camera bag got trashed. My passport was in a "waterproof" pocket, but it was soaked and almost ruined - I know, I should have put it in a zip-lock bag. It was a few more days until I got home and could thoroughly dry out my bag but by then it was full of mildew and getting moldy. I've been catching up on your videos and caught the one where you sign the praise of the NYA-EVO. Too bad you don't have an affiliate link; I got the larger bag and I'm loving it! Thanks for the recommendation. The OWL! I got photos of the same owl. Like you, just driving down the road, saw the owl out of the corner of my eye, stopped and got some decent photos. It was fearless, more interested in eating than by me being so close. Again, loved the video. Be well.
