I remember watching this game live! I also remember the crazy snowstorm that delayed this game a day. 1996 was easily my favorite college hoops year of my lifetime, born in '82. The Big East was absolutely stacked with talent in 1996. Allen, Iverson, Wallace, Kittles and I'd even throw in Croshere at Providence made for must see tv nearly every night. Add in the great UMass team and it was a college hoops party in the Northeast that year.
Back in the day I would have been rooting for Kerry Kittles in this one. I would have loved to seen this game back in the day. This is a classic game. NBA draft of 1996 at its best right here. There should be way more views of this. Seriously. These were two of the best of the NBA draft for 96 and it was considered the greatest NBA draft class of all time in ranks of 84 and 03. RUclips viewers are sleeping on this video. Great video! I enjoyed watching it.
I was at the game the previous year. Nova annihilated #1 UConn in Storrs. Kittles was unconscious; he could not miss. 37 points. Btw, in NBA Kittles was never even an all star, while Allen was HOF. Ya never know!
