Honestly, what in the Kwangya is that.... this a whole rip off of Aespa. Anyone who wants to argue, Kwangya concept has been present since 1997 with the SM first girl group S.E.S. It's just that technology was not on their side so they had to wait till it caught up all these years and then created Aespa who are extremely scarily similar to S.E.S right down to the number of members and even the members visuals + skills (with Winter added ofcourse) This is honestly a full on rip off with even the city buildings in Kwangya, the colour theme and the all members hilariously looking like Karina but 1 thing I can praise is the splendid animation. Y'all got really good animation quality. Maybe this will finally force the SM animation team to stop with the shit bad rotoscopy animation on the Ae - learn from this new groups animators please.
I have to predict this group will undoubtedly fail though after the first 2 title songs. There's no humans - means no emotional connect... animating it all will cost a bomb so unless money is pouring in it won't work and even a portion of money lost will cost in the quality of the next project. Plus, y'all got no original ideas so - you cant rely on ripping off other groups like Aespa who have their whole universe and story mapped out over decades now- that strategy will only for this first MV to gain attention but after that the hate will pour in + you will get sued for plagiarism if you do it continuously. If you release a video game, it might build a fan base. Not hating on the group - I like the quality of work... just get a new storyline and characters that don't impersonate a living person (Karina) on purpose for attention, without their consent... that is unethical.
So many Kpop MVs look similar in scenes, or take inspiration from existing artwork but it is not plagiarism as taking inspiration is not bad. You need old ideas in order to build upon them to create new ones. There's a huge difference between taking inspiration and ripping off an entire concept / project AND using someone's face involved in the orginal project as multiple clones to sell without that person's (Karinas) consent. This is straight up wrong. Also, they didn't take one or two things from Aespa - they stole a majority of the concept right down to the damn logo. Honestly, I hope SM sues for this. The one time Aespa did accidentally plagiarize was the 'flower meadow in train' scene in black mamba - feeling wronged, the original artist called them out for it on social media, SM immediately did the right thing by hiring the original artist to work with Aespa in the Savage MV. They even gave him credit by mentioning his name in the behind the MV video.
