flamingoes actually have a special way of eating that allows them to absorb the color. They usually eat a red bacteria that filters through them and gives them a pink tint. "Normal" flamingoes are a grayish color and are like that from birth you young adulthood.
If anything, that made Finding Nemo 10x better! I mean how cool is it that they can change their sex in order to keep their species alive! It's awesome. :)

The suburb of Northeast Ohio that I live in is actually known for a large presence of plastic pink flamingos. I've never quite understood, but it's something Parma gets picked on for a ton. So I can believe that there are more fake flamingos than real ones. A significant portion of them are in the front yard of my neighbor's house.

I looked this up and apparently it's only possible in humans if a man has some kind of medical problem that means he produces too much of the hormone that stimulates breastfeeding (I showed far too much of an interest in this issue haha)

The paper thing is absolutely true. It doubles in size each time you fold it and a piece of paper is 1mm thick. I did the math if you keep doubling 42 times it gets to a distance that's longer than the distance to the moon. It's physically impossible to fold a piece of paper in half more than like 7 or 8 times though, if that.

It's if you fold it in half 48 times, but it's impossible to fold a piece of paper no matter what the size in half more than 8 times
