The best british composer ever...
Wonderful music and a wonderful performance! Purcell is such a gem.
LOVE the lively tempos! Well executed!
PURCELL HAD SUCH SOUL
Dancing, animated by strong energy. Bliss.
I have't heard this music before. Thanks a lot. It's so beautifull)
Watch the 1980 Soviet movie Овод. It's prominently featured.
Masterpiece!
I think this may be my favorite of Purcell's works.

Purcell is so good. I really love "King Arthur". Great pity he did not live longer -such genius!
It's definitely one of my favorites too; what's for sure is that it's the first piece of Henry's I ever heard, I think about 1980, and I've never stopped listening after that. What a pity he died so young.
no habia oido esta obra de hPurcell es buenisima como todo lo suyo
FAB !!!
Nice interpretation!
The opening of the "Jigg" at 12:12 sounds much like "lilliburlero"
It is! The tune is there throughout, with other lines playing above it.
неужели нельзя вставлять рекламу посреди музыкальной фразы!
Почему нельзя, можно, вот они и вставили...
Purcell, Croft & Handel only British EQ to likes of the greats like Lully, Nivers, Charpentier, Rameau, Bach, Cambert, Vivaldi, Albinoni, Marcello, Scarletti, Corelli, Telemann!
Shouldn't that be GORDIAN? Was it spelled incorrectly in the source?
Parece mentira.... la descubrí en Kramer vs. Kramer
Amen 🙏🏻 that
