One of my favorites' songs by Samantha. I just love the pulsating drums by Sarah Tomek a hot show all to herself. Love it when they play off of one another. Such energy
Still the most awesome legs in the business, she kills the Blues every time. Love and blessings from South Africa, would love to see on tour in this country.🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
@@toddgittins5692 I guess you are right, I live in SA and have to keep my yard, house and car permanently locked up, become a way of life here but never the less it would be an honour to have her bring her talent here. Cheers.👍🇿🇦🇿🇦
She's played Milwaukee a few times and has had awesome reviews. She just keeps getting better. That coming from an old school 67 year old guitar player. Go Sam Go !!!
🎶Head bangers in leather, 50,000 watts of power, Heavy Metal Bad motor scooters, Tight pants, red shoes, and lipstick, she's riding on a razors edge, holds her own against the boys, cuts through the crowd just like a wedge, Baby it's you ! Can't start a 🔥without a spark in the dark to light your🔥fuse... let's find a sway and dance the Blues ! 🎶💖🎶
Samantha I really like the outfits you wear for your concerts you always exhibit class you really are a class act and you’re going to go down in history with Clapton and Hendrickson some of the other grades out there you’re a hell of a guitar player you really are and thank you for the good quality music I really appreciate that all right this is a Jim mungai from Kennerdell Pennsylvania thank you again
Now that everyone else has complemented her on all her other attributes, as a guitar player myself, I'd like to say that she has one of the best guitar tones that I've ever heard. Although you usually see her playing through this boutique amp, like in this show, she has said in interviews that if she can't bring her own amp to a gig, she usually asks for a Fender Bassman or Super Reverb. And she still gets a killer tone out of them, too. But I've noticed this seems to be the trend nowadays. Even the classic rockers who used to play through a wall of Marshall stacks, now have one or two Fender Super Reverbs, or Fender Bassmans onstage. It's that 4 x 10" speaker combination that they seem to like. During the decades that I've been performing live, there's one interesting conclusion that I've come to: how many watts that your amp is putting out is less important than how much air that you are moving. For example: a Fender Twin has two 12" speakers. That means it's got 24" of paper pushing the air. A Fender Super Reverb has four 10" speakers. That means it's got 40" of paper pushing the air. Thus the Super has almost twice as much paper pushing the air as the Twin. Big difference for combo amps. Then if you're using a separate head and cabinet, your cab usually has four 12" speakers. That means that your've got 48" of paper pushing the air. Sam's cab on this gig looks a bit smaller than the usual, so she's probably using a 4 x 10" one. Same speaker combination as the Supers and Bassmans that she likes. That's all you really need just to hear yourself. Even on a big open air stage like this one. Like I said, I'm speaking from decade's of playing on stages like this one. Also, me and those other old dudes didn't know how badly you could wreck your ears with the old "louder is better" idea, and we're paying for it now. That's why we've downsized to 45 watt 4 x 10" amps. As a side note, I once opened up for Molly Hatchet, and they had a backline of Twins on top of Marshall cabs. After the show, when we were all talking backstage, they were saying that they used to use a backline of Marshall stacks, and they said that now they preferred the Twins on top of the Marshall cabs. (This was many moons ago.) I myself have a Fender Super Reverb that I put on top of a Fender 4 x 12" cab, and a Twin. (Among the many other amps in my collection.) The open- back 10"'s on the Super give lots of clear high-end frequencies, good rear-end dispersion, and lots of uninhibited speaker excursion stretch. The cab is closed-backed, and front-ported, with four 12" speakers. This gives it lots of tight low-end woof. Perfect combination. If I'm playing at a really big open air festival, I ask the promoter to provide me with a Marshall 4 x 12" cab. So I put the Super on top of it's cab on the right hand side (facing the audience) of the drum riser, and the Twin on top of the Marshall cab on the left hand side of the drum riser. I don't need to turn them up loud. The Twin has a half-power switch on the back that turns off two of the four Poweramp stage tubes, which drops it's power down to about 45 watts, so it has the same amount of power as the Super on the other side of the drum riser. (Same wattage that Samantha uses.) But the idea is to have a lot of paper pushing the air, and a very wide sonic field for the guitar, so I can hear it well when I'm on either side of a big stage.
I like her new band. They seem to greatly compliment her style. Must have been tough for her to initiate such a major change. But, it sure seems to have been a good career move. Again, I really like this band.
If you're going to play hot, you need to look hot, she's a total package deal.
She looks great in red and black
Greatest maybe without in red and black

People (understandably) fan out over Samantha a lot; but her various band members play a big part in how fantastic the band's work comes out.
Sam's become the total package in the last 2-3 years. Her writing and playing have become excellent, especially her writing.
PEACE Y'ALL.
Love Samantha AND the wardrobe department!
Samantha is just great and can she twang that box guitar.
