Totally agree with starting with pants. Since they are between shoes and top, they have the most interaction with your other pieces imo. Also I just fucking love pants. Love the outfits, though really far from my current style.
I get that this type of style works but this is kind of the same method everyone does these days: big pants, small top = good outfit. I would rather recommend people to go out there and just try things, yes it's good to dip into trends like these once in a while but finding your own style is 100 times better than a copy and paste one
